Kafui is doing a fantastic job filling the blank spaces for some of us who were just a generation behind the main actors of the period under consideration. You owe it to today's youths and future generations of Ghanaians to collate and preserve these primary source narratives in a manner that will preserve this geographical entity called Ghana.

Great work Kafui, this is an awesome series you’re working on. 45 years of June 4th must be taken seriously. I like the old Captain and narration but I always thought he made events more about himself than the subject at hand. It doesn’t take away from his professional experience. Looking forward to hearing more perspectives on June 4th, especially from Tsatsu Tsikata.
    Bravo, Kafui!

Beautiful beautiful walk back through history..bless you Kafui 🙏🏾
But one thing frightening about your interviews is where they mostly admit it seems that we don’t learn from history and we are making the same mistakes of the past. I pray God guides us🙏🏾

Some minor corrections: It did not rain in the morning of June 4th or during the day, however, it didrain heavily starting that evening or night and the belief is that if it had not been for this heavy rain, many more people would have died that day in Burma Camp, since people would have used the cover of night to commit atrocities far beyond what happened in broad daylight. Secondly (please any eyewitness should correct me), Col. Enninful and his wife were indeed shot and killed at home in Juba Villas, probably in front of the eyes of their children, but to my knowledge, none of the children were killed. Believe me when I say that this was a horrific act and deeply affected the community. This was not the act of "heroes" and is something i never understood. Finally, I would like to say that no one except those who were there have an idea of the atrocities that were committed in Burma Camp towards the officers, their wives, their children and everyone in their households in Burma Camp, esoecially on June 4th itself and of course in the days following. It was an explosion of violence in which no one was really in control. As far as i am aware, the arsenals in Burma Camp were opened up and any soldier was free to collect weapons and ammunition and to do whatever they wished to. The carnage was incredible.

Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe was not the 1st Ghanaian to head the 37 Military Hospital. That's a lie. Dr. Louie Siamgo was the very 1st Ghanaian to head the Hospital. Please correct thia.

I remember that name, but I thought it was spelled "Simango", perhaps I am wrong. Should be easy to verify.
PS: I have done some background research and I do believe that "Simango" is the correct spelling.

If you follow Ghana’s history, you would know where we are now and trust me it’s not good.
A repeat of the famine is looking likely but this time it would be an artificial famine, not lack of rainfall induced.
    Pray for Ghana
