Looks like the Frederick + Caliph duo is fire as they both complement each other. Frederick is a late game lord and is very vulnerable in the beginning while Caliph is very strong early on and able to absorb attacks. On the other hand Caliph's late game attacks are pretty easy to fend off, but Frederick's are devastating if he's left to fully develop
Things to note: 1. The double-Lionhearts either curbstomp or get stomped depending on the map/other teams. Generally, from what I see, they always under--perform. 2. Pig and Phillip linked up pretty well as a duo. Phillip was just sadly poor at his attack's timing. If he targeted Caliph and not Frederick, the troops would've met in the field and he might've stayed alive longer. 3. Wazir is trash, as he usually is 99% of the time. 4. Abbot vs Caliph was always going to be in Caliph's favor. He was doomed from the start. Arab archers hard-counter monks and European archers. Overall, it was a nice match to watch. I enjoy seeing King Phillip perform super well in teams like this. Hard to say what I'd do to change it- obviously adding Saladin would make what ever team he's on win, so can't replace Abbot or Wazir with him. I would say two Wazirs over Wazir and Abbot, but then Phillip would've just done the same thing twice. Maybe replace Abbot with Wolf? Wolf beats Caliph, but Caliph's defense holds the line enough for Frederick to get set up since he's a late-game lord.
the 2v2v2v2 battles are pretty predictable at some point. when wazir died i could predict the whole game. abbot alone is doomed. then each lionheart is in a 1v2 and will die next. and frederik/caliph are just too strong for pig/philipp.
Its crazy how much Philipp is buffed by aggressive AI, he's like a whole new lord... Also, it's ridiculous how weak Wazir is, considering how strong is his economy...
