This song is harder to hear for anyone who has lost a loved one. I lost my mother, there comes a point when you start to forget what the person's voice was like. This boy at the beginning of the video moved me, he reminds me a lot of River. I didn't know the River, but it was as if I had know it. The absence that he and my mother left in my life is suffocating. But know I will see them again 🥺😢.
Being so close up on the mic gives that intimate feel but also muffles certain words. Good song RIP the great River. It effected many people that he touched.
River Phoenix passed away at the age of 23, this night of October 31st, Samhain.. My friends and I were having a "happening" celebration, in Gainesville that night, in 1993. It turned into a wake, as the radio sounded with the voice of Joachin crying out to 911 to save his brother. There was a close nit group of people in Gainesville, FL, who care about the Phoenix's, to this day! Goddess Bless you, River and your whole family!!!
