Sorry this is incredibly late but do you think it would be a good idea to size up or stay the same size? It has it marked down as “slim fit” so not sure what to do.

Great question. I’m super particular about balancing fit “by appearance” and comfort. I purchase L in Patagonia jackets. Which is 1 size down from my go to jacket size of XL. I wouldn’t call either of my Patagonia jackets “slim fit.” They aren’t tapered with the “V” we expect in slim fit shirts and jackets. Patagonia is a solid company with good customer service and a retail store network, so it shouldn’t be difficult if you need to make a change or return. Sorry for the long reply, hope it helps in your decision. Thanks for watching and commenting. Please consider subscribing if you haven’t already.

Thanks for watching my 🙌. If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing. Hopefully, the video was useful. I like the jacket, but I prefer Public Recs jacket. Triple Aught Design also makes s very nice jacket.

Almost 6 mins long clip, the useful info can be condensed into less than 1 min.
@ 1.10 - "everyone says its athletic cut but it feels polyester" - erm the cut is the FIT, polyester is a MATERIAL.
@ 4.10 - "it does feel stretchy" - it contains 6% elastane as clearly stated on the sewn in care label and the url

Given I’m a proponent of positive reinforcement; I’m so grateful that you watched the entire video. The fact that you took the time to note a syntax error to the second is so complimentary. I’m so grateful for your feedback and you clearly benefited from watching, which is the goal of the channel. As a suggestion for your future comments, you don’t need to write “sewn in” in addition to “care label.” It’s repetitive and grammatically unnecessary. Where else would the care label be but sewn in. It’s also generally accepted to write one minute and ten seconds as 1’10” As you’ve noted, communicating clearly is definitely important, but using a confirming style guide is also an important part of rhetoric. Thanks again for watching and I truly hope you chose to subscribe.
