Kaen, that is not a deadlift:-) That is a good morning, or low back workout. I appreciate you are trying to keep your back curvature for safety but due to your resistance band length the resistance does not begin until your back is parallel to ground with your legs almost straight. A true deadlift is almost all LEGS, with the low back, glutes, hips supporting the move. Please note Jeff as he demonstrates the proper technique, and he is one of the best coaches on the planet. Once you have the technique down, you can replace the barbell with dumbells or a different mechanism that provides resistance in the same resistance plane, but with more range of motion. Recently, l have learned the psoas muscles are super relevant to athleticism. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psoas_major_muscle Kettle bell & goblet squat exercise directly affect the psoas muscle. For years... l've seen people with a kettle bell regimen. "That exercise doesn't look like much." As well, just about every person l've seen with a kettle bell regimen... were in way better shape.

I have tried to do Kettle bell but it only gets the weak range. These get the weak, mid, and strong ranges. So tripple the strength.
