The architecture and building on this set is actually very well done. I’m going to get this, eventually, for sure! But I think I’m going to turn it into modular style, with the sidewalk and everything. Not sure yet :P

I know that Harry Potter is a LEGO theme with builds fitting more in the "Fantasy" category, but damn this set is good. Could be used for a "fancy" area in a custom LEGO city.

I know where the inspiration for Diagon alley came from, the author of the Harry Potter books was once a student at Exeter University in England and drew the idea from a row of shops called Gandy Street
