Welcome back to Vlogmas! You all must be as excited as I am that Mummy Smee is joining us for today's episode of Vlogmas! Today we head to London for some gorgeous Mummy-Daughter time: mooching around shops, having a bite to eat in one of our favourite spots but also to head to Harley Street for some important health check-ups. Then, we head home and unbox some very special boxes with decorations full of memories of years gone by. I hope you enjoy this Vlog as much as I have enjoyed creating it.

Aww fabulous Ladies. I took my Mammy to North Yorkshire today, couldn't find the venue, got lost, had a laugh but had some lovely time together. She is 80, glad your Mammy is OK after her appointment ❤❤

Wish I could see my mom! She is happy! I was 19 when she died! 54 years ago February 12th!! She was 44 with 8 kids!! We loved her so much!!

Your mother is stunning! Her radiance and smile are so elegant. My mother and I also had a close relationship; I cherished our shopping days and the luncheons that would always follow. Such incredible memories. You get your beauty and elegance from your mother. One thing I regret not capturing on film was her telling the many stories of her mother and her grandparents. My mother was the keeper of stories of both my mother's and father's histories; she wrote so many on paper, but my children and I miss seeing her, hearing her voice, and the twinkle in her eyes.

I do love seeing your mum, being around the same age as her. I too, get out the champagne, play Christmas songs and spend ages doing my Christmas decorations and trees. I usually notice the next day, after having consumed copious quantities of champagne, that some of the decorations are a little wonky!

Leonora, I absolutely love you! “More is more!” In my dreams, we could meet one day and I could show you how alike we are. I am a 68 year old Jamaican woman, but I swear we were somehow linked together in another life. I have 15 huge bins of Christmas decor! Lately I have been thinking that I should just put up a tree and nothing else because like your Mum said, I am running out of steam, but it gives me such pleasure to see all my collections and relive all the memories. When we had nothing at all, I decorated a tree that a vendor to us for free. It was in such bad condition. I decorated it with candy canes. When I think of how far we have come, I tear up every year.

Your mother and you are a shining example of beauty and kindness ❤ I'm actually glad to hear you remind others of the importance of getting a mammogram. I m currently in remission from breast cancer 🎀 my tumor was extremely rare for the breast, solitary fibrosis tumor and I'm unfortunately one of seven women in the world with the diagnosis as it typically is diagnosed in the pleural and considered a soft tissue sarcoma. . I'm so glad you have such a beautiful and healthy relationship and if you and your husband decide one day to have children, you're going to be an amazing mother

I LOVED shopping with my Mummy & my Grandmother too as my Mummy loved shopping & we used to have a snack & cuppa at a cafe before we started shopping.
I also LOVE your traditions of unwrapping decorations together which I do with my 2 babies SAFFRON-SKYE & SHANTIV who get some smaller (unbreakable) baubles to play with on the floor.
You should buy another Angel for your tree.

Thank you so much for sharing your special mummy daughter day with us. I always loved going to Harrods with my mummy and doing the very same as you've just done in Selfridges! We used to go to the top floor restaurant for lunch and then both shopped until we dropped!!! Such wonderful memories of happier times. Nothing like a close loving relationship between mother and daughter, treasure every moment! ❤❤❤

Well done for telling people to get their annual mammogram but another important annual screening is the mole check. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, but because I do mole checks it was caught early. Then last week on my 6 month mole check my Dr. found another. Surgery done. Cancer caught early again. But here’s the thing, both times the moles looked normal except my Dr uses a magnifier and she found a tiny dark spot in the middle of the mole that she didn’t like. She saved my life….twice. So even if you think you are fine, get your screenings done.
