I wish I could attach a picture of my walls! I have my inherited silver pieces and thrifted silver displayed gallery wall style in my family room!!! I get so many compliments! Love seeing these pieces everyday instead of put away! Loving your channel! Vicky from Alabama ❤️🦩❤️
You have such a great eye for awesomeness. I liked the metal basket. I love the idea of pairing and distressing the birdcage. I also think a wood round on the bottom would pop. Good luck with the show.
Hi Julie! Use metallic tape, folded in half around the chipped glass edge. It will add to the item and you can get the tape in a variable of metals at a craft store.
Love your videos! I’m a newbie but I’ve found myself waiting for you to post new videos, we have the same taste and a lot of the same ideas, same sense of humor, pretty sure we’d be the best of friends if we could ever meet! Kindred spirits for sure! I was thinking that bird cage would look really cute on top of the brass stand, you could make a wood bottom to set it on....then work your magic! Anyway, keep up the awesomeness!! 🥰❤️🙏🏻 THANK YOU!!
I think that wooden thing you showed after the letterpress is actually a vent cover for an old wooden floor. I have a very similar smaller one in my house. 😊
Hey take that cloche thats broken and glue on a portion of leather belt around the top. It would look so cute and keep the glass from breaking all the way. And you can put a tiny christmas tree in it!! Lol.
Just found your channel recently! You are so fun 😃 love me a good thrift haul! My parents had one of those shells with a blue glass insert back in the day... they used it as an ashtray! 😂😂😂
Im so happy for you I wish i had that luck. I have had people not sell me stuff because I told them I flip so I stopped telling people Washington is very hard to make it.
On those brass lamp stand I make bird feeders and use those big putor platter's and I put cute ceramic birds I have painted, using your baking soda mixture and sell them. In my space I rent in an antique mall. I use the clear Silicon water proof great to last outside weather !!! Love you videos so much fun !!!
You could put a plain clear vase (that you looked at in your thrift store the day you lost your rings) to go with your marble base that had a broken glass with it. Great for a winter scene with trees and a deer.
I am glad to learn I am not the only one who gets something home and realizes that I didn't notice a chip or crack. I try to pay close attention, but sometimes I still miss it! That letter press box! I have never seen one yet. I think if I ever do I will be so excited that I won't care about the price. Lol! What an excellent haul this week!
It is my first time to your channel! That was awesome that they had you shop by yourself! You found great stuff! My favorite item was the cream basket! Your kiddos are so cute! I look forward to your diys! Thank you for sharing! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
You had me laughing as most people would think you are a little nuts to get so excited over having a thrift store to yourself, lol, but I get excited just like you to go find those treasures and let your imagination explode. So much fun!
How did I miss this September Spree ?? I’d die and go to HEAVEN to have the joint to myself !! What a blast !! Ok, hands down my favorite item was the big wooden floor grate. So many possibilities. You make me laugh out loud, I love your channel, and caviar ?? No thank you, not in this house either !! Happy Thrifting !! 🥰
The BEST item.... LIKE ALL !!!! Oh my goodness all those SILVER TRAYS and CREAM AND SUGAR SET.... soooo jealous ! Then that “Letter Drawer”...and the other wood piece - I wonder if that one is a register that goes on a wall? Of course being from SNOW COUNTRY and it’s cold here....I’m thinking heat ! LOL !!!! You know another idea for the “ steamer pot ” is people take them apart and take a piece of wood and layer the individual pieces to make them look like a Christmas tree. I have one ! Love it ! 🌲 Oh my gosh I think I am as excited about this haul as you ! Look at ALL those cutting boards...oh I wish I wasn’t way up in New York ! Great...GREAT FINDS! Congratulations on this haul 😁👍 🧡🍁🧡
Your chipped glass can bee repaired at a glass / mirror store. They can even have the hole at the top cut larger to remove the chipped area, so it will be as good as new. I would put a large battery operated pillar candle in it with some greenery etc. and cover it with the glass cover
Julie, I would find a cloche to replace the broken glass topper for the concrete saucer. I love watching your finds. You are the cutest with your southern accent!!
Glue some burlap around the rim of that cloche! Maybe sand down the broken glass first to make sure there are now sharp points! 😉 that wld look so cute!!!
I'm totally binge watching your videos! It is garage sale season here finally! and even though I've got a lot of projects to flip in the garage, I still am excited to go hunting! I definitely want to try to sell my goodies but I keep wanting to find places in my new house. 😂 The basement and garage are crazy right now but I don't do clutter upstairs so I will run out of room soon 🙈😂 I've been waiting impatiently for nice weather so I can open the garage up and spray paint and play!
You are so awesome!!!. You need your own tv show. I love your enthusiasm and the joy you have in your work and special finds!!! That brass heavy basket at the end. My favorite !!!
What an amazing haul! I love all the tarnished silver. I collect those pieces too. I would have been so happy to score all the pieces you did. Thanks for sharing.
I could watch you all day! I love the ideas and the items you find. I had one of those printers' things years ago, but alas, it's gone now. Thanks for taking us along for your hauls!
Letter presses are exspensive here in Australia also. But I adore them. I want one to store minitures in. Not an original idea but I love the look. Thanks for the tarnished silver tips. Good luck with your show! 🌺
By far my favorites are the tarnished pieces and the letter press drawer. I just got a whole box of letters, now I need the drawer!! Love your videos - thanks for sharing ☺️❤️
I’ve been looking for a bird cage for my plants....my cats like to eat them....so I have to hang them out of their reach. With the bird cage I could actually have it sitting on something. Would be perfect for my succulents! Love your videos.
You hit the Jackpot on that "private" shopping spree. The black bird cage is my favorite piece because I'm in a Halloween mood. Does it open? Couldn't tell from the video. I would do your cute skeleton in a cage decoration you showed in a previous video. That hook! I laughed when you said it looked like a pirate hook because as soon as you held it up I thought "Capt Hook" . I hope to make it to the craft show on the 10th .
If you're doing any Halloween decor at your show, I vote for keeping the birdcage black . . . Toss in some Spanish moss, maybe a black bow to camouflage the hook and Dollar Tree has bird skeletons. Creepy fun! Love your hauls & upcycles;-)
Love your fantastic thrift haul. I definitely like to find silver but I clean mind up .i I use thru out my house. Kitchen, bathroom every where. Loved the ones with wood never seen before. You are right it is hot in the south. I’m from N.C. And the cool fronts are great. God’s blessings on y’all.
Don’t throw your broken cloche away. Wrap some jute twine around the broken section on top. Tie on a couple of small shells around the neck of the cloche. Add some larger shells in the base, maybe a starfish too and an air fern plant.
❤ I HAD THAT OPPORTUNITY IN THE KEYS ONCE...IT WAS AWESOME!!
Love watching you and your great finds
Awe I am excited you got the Thrift Store to your self, 👏
How amazing to be able to go to a thrift store like that. I would buy stuff from you. I love your ideas.
Thank you
I’ve already watched this twice. I love thrifting!!!!😱
Me too 😍
You have such a great eye for awesomeness. I liked the metal basket. I love the idea of pairing and distressing the birdcage. I also think a wood round on the bottom would pop. Good luck with the show.
Oh, that's a great idea, a wood bottom would totally elevate the look
I LOVE those old cutting boards in the back! You found some awesome things! Thank you for sharing!
Good luck at your show!
Thanks, I made those. That video will be coming soon
Hi Julie! Use metallic tape, folded in half around the chipped glass edge. It will add to the item and you can get the tape in a variable of metals at a craft store.

So sweet. Thank you, glad you enjoyed
The wood grate is a return air vent that was used in floors in old houses. There was one in the hallway of the house I grew up in😄
Never seen one. We must not have them around here
I like the old Tarmished items the best ,they do look good with white
That color sweater looks so good on you.
Thanks girl, walmart 😉
It does look good great FALL color 🌸
I think that wooden thing you showed after the letterpress is actually a vent cover for an old wooden floor. I have a very similar smaller one in my house. 😊
Ding, ding, ding! You win! The home we are about to buy has these vent covers on the floor. :)
I have 3 in my house with original wood floors.
Just found your channel today and I'm obsessed! Love thrifting old things into new. So much inspiration!
Welcome, glad you enjoyed!
I think the long wooden piece is a antique floor vent cover. I had some like that in my old 125 year old home.
Hey take that cloche thats broken and glue on a portion of leather belt around the top. It would look so cute and keep the glass from breaking all the way. And you can put a tiny christmas tree in it!! Lol.
Yes! Thanks
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns or maybe wrap the top edge and lip with jute? Probably would be my easy "cover" up for a chip or crack
love the way you are exited to show the things you bring
I wish you would make more video's, just love watching you buy and repurpose stuff.....LOVE IT !!!!!
I'm trying, need more hours in the day!
@@JuliesDesignsandSigns Don't we all !!!!
The silver shell was also used as an ashtray. Take out the glass dish, dump out the ashes , clean it and replace!
You could put that cage on top of one of those tall stands and throw greenery in there
You should consider looking into Loctite super glue for glass. I see you have some troubles with that. Good luck & God bless 🙏
You could use the letter press to fill with collectables. Love your creativity! TFS God Bless...
Just found your channel recently! You are so fun 😃 love me a good thrift haul!
My parents had one of those shells with a blue glass insert back in the day... they used it as an ashtray! 😂😂😂
Your letter press could be an advent calender... be so cute. Little trees etc here and there in the empty spaces
Omg, LOVING that brass basket! Beautiful.
I need one of those brass egg baskets in my life to gather the eggs I hope to one day have!
That is a grate for a cold air return vent for your furnace. They are sometimes in the floor or in the wall.
love love the tarnished silver pieces. So beautifully aged! Great finds!
The board after the letter tray is a bread cooling rack
I'd have to say tiara the books are my favorite. Love the vintage books and the pages are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Im so happy for you I wish i had that luck. I have had people not sell me stuff because I told them I flip so I stopped telling people Washington is very hard to make it.
Aww, that's not nice.
On those brass lamp stand I make bird feeders and use those big putor platter's and I put cute ceramic birds I have painted, using your baking soda mixture and sell them. In my space I rent in an antique mall. I use the clear Silicon water proof great to last outside weather !!! Love you videos so much fun !!!
letter tray - I have one my Dad used in his printt shop. I have thimble collection in it.
You could put a plain clear vase (that you looked at in your thrift store the day you lost your rings) to go with your marble base that had a broken glass with it. Great for a winter scene with trees and a deer.
You’re so fun to watch!.. I love how you are yourself
Yes, hate when that happens, but I saved it!! Will post a picture later
OMG! That was a fantastic haul!!!! I know you were sooo excited!! Maybe you will get to do this again!! You are super lucky
I just find the one with the wood handle!!!
It would make a great timble display thing.
I would cut the brass poles down then make it a riser just a thought
Y’all! How exciting.
The long wood piece is an old floor grate. I have one on my wall, great find!
The long wooden rectangle grid thingy is a cold air return cover. Our old home had them in the floor.
I made a cute flower out of a steamer..love watching you
Love watching your thrift hauls and can't wait til you figure out how to work shipping into everything else you do. 😂 Keep the videos coming!!🥰
I need more hours in the day 😫 wish I was one of those people that only needed 4 hours

I knew my people would understand my excitement 🥰

The BEST item.... LIKE ALL !!!! Oh my goodness all those SILVER TRAYS and CREAM AND SUGAR SET.... soooo jealous ! Oh yeah, that's a cute idea. I might make a Christmas tree
The wood shelf thing is a old air vent cover. My uncle had then in his vintage house.
You are a great motivator. I’m dragging things out to finish before my market next week.
Good luck!!

I loved that brass basket you showed last. I would like to have one in my kitchen. I will have to keep a eye out for something similar. 💞
Julie, I would find a cloche to replace the broken glass topper for the concrete saucer. I love watching your finds. You are the cutest with your southern accent!!
Aw, thank you. I saved it! Will post a picture later

The tarnish silver trays would look great with Christmas decorations
Yes!
I love those little pans with wooden handles!
Christy, they look like chafing dishes, they probably had frames to rest on with candles underneath to keep food warm.
The bakelite sets are quite a find! They stopped making it in the early 1940s. To have two sets is unusual.
Those bases would make great Christmas trees or mannequins.
Out rope around the glass with the chip
👋🏾 my favourites are the 2 bed warmers and the brass wire basket. Love your hauls 😁🤩
You are so awesome!!!. You need your own tv show. I love your enthusiasm and the joy you have in your work and special finds!!! That brass heavy basket at the end. My favorite !!!
Aww, your so sweet. Glad you enjoyed
Veg. Streamer use in the Instant pot pressure cooker.
The metal bases are former lamps . . .great finds Julie
What an amazing haul! I love all the tarnished silver. I collect those pieces too. I would have been so happy to score all the pieces you did. Thanks for sharing.
So many great finds! Enjoyed so much!!!!
I believe the clam shell is a cocktail sauce dish that had a little spoon that hung out the side where the little hole is.
Yes! We had one when I was a kid. So that thing is old as dirt. 🤣
I could watch you all day! I love the ideas and the items you find. I had one of those printers' things years ago, but alas, it's gone now. Thanks for taking us along for your hauls!
Great hull thanks for sharing.
You could put a glass cake top on the white cement bottom that has a broken top! Cute finds today!!
The printer tray and the wooden grate were my favs
Yes. Sold the grate but keeping the tray 😍
Those were lamp bases for floor lamps 😁
Love your videos...keep posting!!!!!!!
I have one of those caviar bowls I use for keys and stuff by the door. Had no idea what it was.
Best item .... brass basket
Letter presses are exspensive here in Australia also. But I adore them.
I want one to store minitures in. Not an original idea but I love the look.
Thanks for the tarnished silver tips.
Good luck with your show! 🌺
Thanks again for the inspirations.
So happy for you,cool finds.
The long wooden piece is an old heat vent used with wooden floors.
I don't think we have those around here but I sold as wall art $35
The item in the cavier dish is just a butter knife. Great finds
You got some great stuff love it all ❤❤
By far my favorites are the tarnished pieces and the letter press drawer. I just got a whole box of letters, now I need the drawer!! Love your videos - thanks for sharing ☺️❤️

Oh. Fancy
I’ve been looking for a bird cage for my plants....my cats like to eat them....so I have to hang them out of their reach. With the bird cage I could actually have it sitting on something. Would be perfect for my succulents!

great idea!
You might be on to something for a new product idea. Cat proof planters for the animal lovers 🐈 with a green thumb.
The brass basket!!!

Girl! Great idea. I love decorating for Halloween!
You did great girl!!!
I do remember wearing sweaters to celebrate a cool front! 😂
Yes girl. It was an exciting day around here 🤣🤣🍂
That plastic tray was from Dollar tree. I put feet on mine. It’s a nice size and shape for a $1.00
If you're doing any Halloween decor at your show, I vote for keeping the birdcage black . . . Toss in some Spanish moss, maybe a black bow to camouflage the hook and Dollar Tree has bird skeletons. Creepy fun! Love your hauls & upcycles;-)
Good idea! Thanks
Can’t wait to see what you do with everything.
My favorite items were the larger silver trays with the cut outs and that small silver bowl
Oh, some oyster shells would match perfectly!!
