- Let's talk about this pre-loved Birkin size 35 in Clemence Leather, color Blue Jean (2003 G)
From the internet - the 1980s - - For those looking for a relaxed and less rigid look with their Hermes bag, Clemence may be the way to go. Made from the baby bull, Hermes started using this leather in the 1980s, and it is still a popular choice for many today. Similar to the Togo leather, Clemence has a wider & flatter grain and is a slightly softer leather.
Not all Hermes zippers feature the 'H', specifically older bags, which have a standard, square block you would find in other types of zippers.
Here's a tip for remembering dates like a pro - The year 2000 is letter D, from there, you can go up or down to date handbags and accessories correctly.

According to the BBC, in the 31 years since its debut, the bag has been produced in at least 25 distinct blues, including popular classics like Blue Jean, Mykonos, and Bleu Roi.

Beautiful bag at a great price. The ONLY thing I noticed - although I am by no means an expert - is that the inner pockets are a different leather inside vs. out. I have 5 Birkins - two of which are 35s and all of which are from the Chicago boutique - and the inner pockets are always the same leather front to back. I know Bleu Jean is a little different so I could EASILY be throwing a red herring into the mix - and this bag is from 2003 - but you might want to call Rebag or another seller - OR even a boutique before you remove tags - hate to throw a wrench in but don’t want you spending the $$ ...

I guess bags that are about 13 years old or newer have the current pocket set up that you were talking about. @@rebeccabartonhandbaglover YES - sorry to create a scare but I wanted to put it out there and then do a little back research. It’s a gorgeous bag - they are heavy, but also durable as all get out and totally worth it. Congrats on the purchase and finding it for a good deal! If you do want to check on the cost of repairs with Hermès itself, you can send it in and they’ll itemize out everything that they suggest fixing by price and you can make a call from there - if you watch WinnieY on RUclips she had it done and her bag came back BEAUTIFULLY.

That was an amazing price. I just sent a preloved box Kelly from TRR to leather surgeons it came back looking almost new.they did an amazing job. I am curious about what the buy back price is. You shouldn't loose any money for selling it if you choose too especially if you send it to LS. Weigh your options should you go that route. I agree prices vary between TRR and Fashionphile. You got a great deal! This is timely because I was just looking at some 35 pieces on fashionphile. Specifically the greens as -Mallechite (green). Most people love the smaller size so those are more expensive.
I do have kids but as the prices rise, I doubt I will do it later 🙂. Still deciding
