I am starting my first gaming PC build. I've already purchased 3 parts so far that include
Ryzen 5 5600 non x CPU
Gigabyte Aorus elite B550M V2 MB
MUSETEX PC CASE ATX 6 PWM ARGB Fans Pre-Installed, Type-C Mid Tower Computer Case with Full View Dual Tempered Glass, Gaming PC Case,Black(K2)
Due to budget constraints I will purchase the rest over time. I'm kinda at a standstill on my build list because I have champagne taste and beer money. So far I'm $350 in and I'm afraid that my parts won't make sense price to performance wise in the end.
The GPU is next on the list and I'm leaning towards the PowerColor Hellhound AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT Graphics Card with 8GB GDDR6 Memory. Please share any thoughts on my decisions so far and whatever ideas you have on the most affordable parts to target with the importance of parts to performance in mind.
3 parts in and feeling a bit overwhelmed by information overload already. I'm totally green and could really use some more brain power.
Thanks in advance.

Holy crap these are under $300 now? That's actually insane.
Ryzen 7 5800x3d RX 6800 XT plus
X570 msi edge wifi with 64GB 4400mhz is more than enough for me
For 1440/2160 gaming I believe the 5800x3d and 64GB are overkill and would pick something else for 1/2 the cost. That is unless you need it for something else.
I would get a ryzen 5 7600 with a b650 board and 32gb ddr5 6000 cl 38@@carrickdubya4765
@@carrickdubya4765the 5800x3d is probably the best pick for it actually

Got a ryzen 7 7800x3d and an xfx 7800xt and it’s been awesome
I also plan to get the 7800xt but with the 7600x instead. Has it been good to you? What kind of performance do you get? And what are its temps?
Idk about the temps and I dont want to just give a bs answer, but the performance has been great for me. It's my first build so I dont have much comparison, but I play at 1440p and get 81 average fps in fortnite on max graphics, 540 fps in rocket league same thing, and 144 avg in baldurs gate 3 on max graphics but I think I have my fps capped in that game for some reason. @@MoPed108
@@MoPed1087600 has the same performance for gaming and it's cheaper.
That'll be a nice upgrade to a 7900xt or xtx
i still choose the arc a770

I spent a bit more and got the 7900 xt with a 7800x3d. I felt the 20gb of vram will just let me use it for so much longer without upgrading and most games at 1440p maxes out the 165hz of my monitor and will allow me to get over 60hz when i get a 4k monitor in the future (waiting for prices to drop on them)
i use rtx 3070 with a 7800x3d. do you think its a worth upgrade to 7800/7900 XT?
I'm rocking dual rtx 2070 supers and it runs 4k like a champ, i never dip below 60 fps at 4k high settings
How tf do
You combine gpus??

How is the performance? my desk is too small for 4k 32 inch so i'm building 1440 pc the exact like yours except 4070 ti super
@@MoBad-pu6wh bro I run every game at ultra 120+ fps besides Jedi Fallen Order which only gets 100fps but oh my what a beast of a budget build that’s a monster
I collect money for a radeon rx 6800 xt and also a ryzen 7 5700x because they're the best combos and won't have any bottlenecks
get he 7800 xt because it includes a free Starfield game and includes Hyper -Rx
I would replace the cpu with the ryzen 5 7600 and I would get a 7800 xt instead since it comes with hypr-rx and some other features and it has a bit better performance than the 6800xt
I went for a 6800 non XT used for $340
Rx 6750XT?
I got a 6700xt on a 1080ultrawide and it work great just wish more titles accommodated 21:9
starting to build a pc and also have a 1080p ultrawide!
Anything with 8GB is out, its on the edge today and over it in less than a year. 10GB is just good enough for a year or two, 12GB 3 years might make 4, 16GB 5 years.
Nah
Not many play the new out games, with the best graphics and stuff 6gb-8gb will last more than 5 years from now
@@AntoRoblox. I prefer to have the ability to play what I want, new or old, at the quality expected for the price I paid. $500 8GB GPUs fall far short of that established price level expectation. Besides, good new games that have high recommended system hardware requirements have been sold by the millions. Are all those millions of people who bought them named Nobody or did they buy them to not play them?
@@AntoRoblox. If you want to keep playing league of legends than you will be fine with a 1050, recommendations like this one will always assume you want to play latest AAA games.

6950xt ftw
If your target is 144hz, I wouldn't get anything below a 4070ti for an all-around good user experience with max settings in anything. I use a 4080 and it's having a hard time in some new games with RT without upscaling and FG.
Yes I agree but most games are not meant to run at 144FPS + anyway, esports titles for sure, but in a game like cyberpunk you're not expecting that same level of performance if that makes sense
@@ShadowGamingPC1 True, i'm talking more along the lines that if you want to buy something and not worry about if you could use one option or the other. Personally, I didn't care about money so I just bought something that will push all triple a games above 100fps with max settings. There is a huge auidence that buys gpus just for the sake of use experience rather than value.
A full 144fps in every new game is unrealistic for a 4070ti, if you want 144fps at 1440p get a 4080.
But honestly even 74 fps on a 144hz monitor is pretty damn smooth, 100fps as well, you don't need to have 144fps to have a good experience.
RT is designed for use with upscaling, you're going to have a miserable time without it, even with a 4090, you're going to have a miserable time with it as well.
But the power of your GPU doesn't matter if your CPU isn't up to snuff, for a 4070 you're going to want at least a 5800X3D to get the most out of it, preferably a 7800X3D.
@@SekiberiusWelkesh That's what I said basically. +1
@@SekiberiusWelkeshyo bro wanna buy a pc my budget is $500 or 600 I just wanna play apex I have a 1440p 165hz monitor. I jus want a good performance pc with good fps can u recommend me one plz ?
What’s everyone’s opinion on the ABS i5 13400f with a 4070…looking to do 1440p gaming..I’m not hard core just weekend warrior looking for a good experience
look into 7600 and 7800xt. or 7700x microcenter deals if you have them nearby
Lmao…I just bought the 7600 with the GB 7800xt….building myself just waiting on the case and memory..first build wish me luck🤞
Will the 6750xt be able to get 144fps at 1440p on triple A titles with medium/average settings. Or should I wait till black friday for deals to get a better gpu like 4070?
I also will be streaming with the setup so is nvidia better or amd? I'm thinking of ryzen 7 5800x and a rx 6750xt with 32gb ram
I think the 4070 is a better option for streaming because of the av1 encoding, and 144fps will depend on the game, what games exactly do you want to run at 144fps +?
i also have an question i only want to play 1440p on low settings mostly playing fps games like cod on low settings but also story based like cyberpunk etc what graphics card would you suggest im going for an white build and cant decide between rx 7900 xtx (might be overkill for 2k only) or 7800 xt@@ShadowGamingPC1

7800 XT is a good card for a couple of years. ;)
So 4070 super for 1080p is it good for like 4-5 years?
And what do you think about the RTX 3070 ti it's arond 370$ on the used market but I know there is less vram
in terms of performance is great but the VRam is a limitation for the future, if you don't mind turning down the settings a bit on triple A titles you're fine
3070Ti Great card
14 games avarage but only esports games, it could be.
I understand but the tests from tech spot have different type of titles, hard to run videogames as well, you can actually see the games they tested on their website :)
They r available in India ?
420th like :D
12 GB Vram is kind already the bare minimum atm, and only going go up as we get more next gen game and more game start use UE5.
Definitely not 12 minimum Is definitely still 8 recommended is more like 10-12 on the safe side 16
only for the games that are horribly optimized. i would just avoid those games. don't give them money for shotty work.
Consider both current gen console have 16 GB Vram. Devs are targeting AMD zen 2/ RDNA 2 16GB Vram as the standard atm. For console and pc at least equal or better to run any newest next gen games (like UE5.2+) I suspect at some time ms maybe forced leave XSS behind. It’s 10 Gb is already been causing issue for some devs. It should have came with 12 Gb.
10-12+ GB is bare minimum for 1440p or better. 8GB is kinda ok for 1080p, but as said it’s going only increase in next few years. 16 GB Vram GPUs is playing safe and more future proof. I think RTX 3060/12 Gb is very popular GPUs in steam hardware stats.
And yes there a lot very un optimized game. Ark ASA is perfect example of lazy devs and/or they don’t know how code properly for UE5+ and or don’t have skilled staff. And they continue to lie to community, along snail games being very corrupt.
Best GPU for my current setup i5-12600kf/16gb 3200mhz, z690 MSI pro p, Corsair Rmx 850 w
For 1440p or 4K?
Go with RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT budget friendly and still a monster gpu
rtx 4070 ti or rx 7900 xt
Those used 3070 and 3080 are looking good rn 😂
I wouldn't recommend getting a 3070 for 1440p gaming as it only has 8gb vram. Get the rx 6750 xt as an alternative
@@MCGamer69420no just keep quite bro we all know it still beats the 6700xt and it can handle 3d rendering (blender) than amd gpus and it also has better encoders
@@bruh5433 it has less vram tho and the 6750 xt beats it in terms of gaming
@@MCGamer69420 3070 has better vram it has gddr6x I mean not all but a used 3070 with gddr6x vram is cheap and beats 6750xt
@@MCGamer69420😂 fanboy. 8gb ram its fine for only 1440p but 4k its must have 16gb ram. New gpus rtx comming soon, 4070 super 16gb ram and 4080 super 20gb ram its the best. I stay on my msi 3070 next 3/4years easy. 12gb not benefit fps on 6700/6750xt. Most games 6750xt slow than 3070 but if compare 3070ti vs 6800 normal version better is 6800 normal.

ScAmazon. overpriced vs some countries.
I got gtx 1660 super with i510400f 16gb ram do you recommend 2k monitor 27 inch ??????
I have the exact same specs... better to have 1080p because the 1660 super isn't the best option for the 2k unless you will upgrade in the future to an rtx ..
Ryzen 5 5600x rtx 3060 12gb would upgrading to a 6750xt or 6800 work? Or sre there better options
It would work, but if you have a 3060 now I'd be looking for the 7800 xt as an upgrade, or the RTX 4070, but if you don't have the budget, then the RX 6800 is solid
@@ShadowGamingPC1 I was looking into the 6800 also with my 5600x. But wouldn't we have to upgrade our CPU for the 7800xt?
RX6750XT
I got rx 6800 what cpu is the best to pair this gpu it is my first time to build pc thanks
I’m going to be using the same card. I went with a i5 12600kf. I don’t really know the how it will work first hand, since I haven’t built it yet, but from everything I can see it’s a really good matchup. Plus the 12600kf is on sale for like $160 right now.
is the 7900xtx and 78003XD too much for 240hz 1440p oled gaming?? i wanna make sure i always hit 240hz consistently and where it doesn’t drop much

The 4090 is an idiots card imo.

@@MCGamer69420 tbh the 4090 has terrible price to performance sure it’s the best gpu on the market but if you want 4K gaming it might just be better to get a ps5 they’re way more affordable and can play almost everything a pc can at 4K 120 fps

I am still confused... Which one is best for gaming and streaming 3060ti or 6700xt ?????
At 1440p the 6700 XT because of the Vram difference (The 3060ti would only make sense if the games that you play run better on NVIDIA GPUs) or if you value some of the features from Nvidia. My recommendation in terms of price to performance is the 6700 xt
4070 ti overpriced garbage
Get the 7900 XT before Amd catches on
I disagree, I don't think the 4070 Ti has an amazing price but I do not think is garbage :)
I guess I can clarify. Called 4070 ti garbage because of it price to performance. If it was 600 bucks I’d say go for that if you want Nvidia gpu 😊
