As a former convert to Islam who later fell away (as many, many converts in North America eventually do), one thing that I think needs to be emphasized over and over and over again is that a lot of what goes on in the Muslim (I won't even say Islamic) community, especially with regard to the treatment of women, is cultural and not in keeping with the tenets of Islam. In many ways, the Muslim community fails to live up to Islam.

However, this religion followers are not the same, they are all agree their main book, the Qran, but to apply it into every day operation, we will see there a lot of different from this area to other area such as we cannot see the Islam in Turkiye as same as in Indonesia or in Philippine, the different will change according to race, tradition , income.... so we can not see this video as a good sample in Muslim, even now in Iraq, the Sunni and Shia are very diffrent and even them don't agree a lot of thing about their own religion.

As a former convert to Islam who later fell away (as many, many converts in North America eventually do), one thing that I think needs to be emphasized over and over and over again is that a lot of what goes on in the Muslim (I won't even say Islamic) community, especially with regard to the treatment of women, is cultural and not in keeping with the tenets of Islam. In many ways, the Muslim community fails to live up to Islam.

However, this religion followers are not the same, they are all agree their main book, the Qran, but to apply it into every day operation, we will see there a lot of different from this area to other area such as we cannot see the Islam in Turkiye as same as in Indonesia or in Philippine, the different will change according to race, tradition , income.... so we can not see this video as a good sample in Muslim, even now in Iraq, the Sunni and Shia are very diffrent and even them don't agree a lot of thing about their own religion.
