We're all seeing the same footage, but no matter how angry we all get and how much we try to change public opinion, nothing seems to come of it. So...what can we do? Has evil won?

The biggest difference is that those people that are about to pretend they were on the right side of things all along will be archived forever on the internet. May we never forget those who enabled and supported atrocity.

The common public opinion being against the “bad guys” isn’t the same thing as good triumphing. When an occupier can continue their genocide without repercussions in their own generation, regardless of general public opinion, then they win. How’s that hopeful?
My Jewish friends visited Israel about 20 years ago as part of their "Birthright" trip to try to convince them to become Israeli Jews. They were so appalled by the anti-Arab racism that they wanted nothing to do with it, ever.
My ex is Jewish and has always been adamant about taking herself and our daughter on one of those "birthright" trips to Israel. Thankfully she is not allowed to take her out of the US without the consent of both parents, and I hope our daughter will eventually learn the truth when she's old enough to understand
It's crazy how people from Europe or anywhere else in the world can tell themselves that it's their "birthright" to settle and repopulate an Area thousands of kilometres away from their actual homeland, based only on a religious argument.

That's funny, everybody I know, muslim and Jew alike who ha had the pleasure of visiting Israel is amazed at how everybody has equal rights there. Also appalled that even in Jerusalem it is dangerous for Jew to go into the Arab communities but not the other way around. Under Israeli law Arabs of ANY faith, Christians Jews, Buddists, LGBTQ tc. all have equal rights. You have clearly NEVER been to Israel. You may have mistakenly gone to one of the Arab nations....they have ethnically cleansed themselves of Jews, and are almost done working on the Christians. LGBTQ are still being defenestrated (murder by throwing out a high window) as we chat.
About 20 years ago I learned about the trip just a little after I was too old to go. At the time I was disappointed because I had no idea about any of this. I didn't understand the situation at all. Now that I realize what I would have been doing, I'm so, so glad I never got to go. It's disgusting.

I myself don't know what I'd do, probably get shot, but I *would* resist. I wouldn't be able to stand living in a country such things are happening in, probably do something similar to my grandfather and flee Germany to fight Germany. But then there's my other grandfather from the same side who's native American and I think 'if America got so bad, would I stay to fight for the natives? Or would I flee and fight from afar?' Apologies for the ramble when I said I shouldn't answer.
As an archivist, I cannot recommend more strongly that people begin to write down details about what is happening in Gaza. The evidence will change someday and we need record of the truth

Great video. My dad was 14 when he was ethnically cleansed from the west bank. At some point him and all my uncles, along with other kids, some younger than him, were lined up and held at gunpoint by the Israeli military until the mothers of the children started crying and begging, they let them go and expelled them out of the country. Both my parents are Palestinian, yet I've never been to Palestine, nor am I allowed to. Thank you for telling our story and for standing up for what's right.

I have a small child, and the simple thought of being in a situation where I can't feed him, provide medicine or protect him from bombs makes me shiver down my spine. Thanks for this video, man, as you pointed out, Israel is an apartheid regime founded and helped by U.S. to keep their interests going on in the Middle East region (as Noam Chomsky also said). Mass medias are often making unclear statements, blaming Palestine and Hamas (a t3rror1st group, but made in large part of rebels who lost someone or everything in these 76 years of occupation), but denying the truth about the genocide made by Israel, also blaming the Houthis, that are fighting for the recognising of the Palestinian State. As I was saying, also in Italy there have been pacific Pro-Palestine protests that have been charged by the police, as if they were violent rioters or a guerrilla movement. The geopolitical interests, the ultranationalist ideologies, the power-thirsty politicians and the "war founding-mentality" are the major problems we're facing in this troubled time, but us (not so) few decent people (as you correctly said) can we still make things change. In conclusion, there's an Italian song by the rapper Ghali that says: "How can you say it's normal that to track some boundaries with imaginary lines you bomb hospitals? For a piece of land or for a piece of bread there's never peace." Sad times that we must endure without losing the light of hope for peace, for every country and every single person in the world. As an American Jew who grew up in the Bush Era, experience has taught me that the dehumanization of Arabs was always an excuse for monstrous actions against innocents. Witnessing the atrocities my people are committing against both the people of Gaza and the West Bank fills me with a profound sense of shame. I can’t speak for Israelis, as I am in no way connected to them in anything besides sharing a common descent. But I still feel the shame by association, and I won’t stop speaking out about it until the suffering we inflict on the Palestinian people comes to an end. The lives of Palestinians are my first concern, but the souls of my people are also at stake. The genocide my people are committing in the name of Blood and Soil betrays the memory of those lost in the Shoah. No more killing, no more pain. My only wish is for the freedom of the Palestinian people, from the river to the sea.

I got into a Reddit argument over the “open air prison” claim. The other person was denying the claims of Gaza being an open air prison because Gazans could leave Gaza for work if they got permission.
My retort was, if you need permission to leave, that means you’re in a prison. No free person needs permission to leave their country. They need permission to enter another country, but not to leave.
These people will twist themselves into pretzels to defend Israel, no matter how guilty they are.
That is utter nonsense. Gazans don’t need permission to “leave”- and Hamas has jurisdiction anyway. Gazans need permission to enter another state. Leaving necessarily implies entering another country, for Gazans that is Israel or Egypt (who controls the Rafah crossing, which the video so conveniently omitted).
Tldr: When you leave your country, you need permission to enter another country. That is the same for every other country on the planet.

We need to consider that Israel could very well fall in the footsteps of the United States, Canada, and Australia rather than Rhodesia and Apartheid South Africa. The white populations of Rhodesia and Apartheid South Africa were minorities, whereas the Palestinians have been turned into minorities in their own homes and are outnumbered by the settlers, just like the Native Americans and Aboriginal Australians. If the Zionist settler-colony is successful, Palestinians will be looked at and treated like animals who can be pushed around whenever necessary, history and existence barely considered by the larger settler society, just like the Native Americans and Aboriginal Australians.
We should also consider that apartheid hasn't left South Africa. Whites make almost 5x more than blacks do at the worst wealth inequality in the world.
I don't want this to be a pessimistic manifesto, I want the best outcome possible for Palestine. But even the best outcome will leave permanent scars on Palestine and it's people. In the end my call for action is keep fighting. There is always a worse reality threatening us that we need to fight against. We also should never give up fighting for the better reality that we will hopefully achieve in the future.
While demographic data seems a bit fuzzy, the cloest estimates put the population of the Palestinian territories at roughly parity. The only thing that has ever caused a mass sweep of the internet was lawyers when they took down/raided MegaUpload for copyright infringment.....and also stole a ton of people's personal files - including at least one person's entire film that they were working with and broke 3% of the internet. To do this they needed the consent of the government/courts/judges/police/security at the IT Office/Server Farm AND the IT department and track down NOT only which servers to take, but all the backups/copies. However as per every illegal streaming/download site, wikileaks and napster this tactic always tends to FAIL because the internet runs on SERVERS, and a large part of a IT departments job is KEEPING COPIES. So the real danger isn't AI - it's TIME! Because the other thing that wipes the internet is people not paying the bill, websites closing and technology moving on. If you're interested in digital preservation maybe pop by the Web Archive project and see if they've got anything special in place. But i hope it makes you feel a bit more comfortable that to wipe out this video someone would have to go to Google, convince them to delete the files - then know that deleting a file doesn't really delete a file, then go find the backups ALL OF THEM, along with the 'mirrors' in every location/country and do the exact same thing. This would all need to be done without warning/at the same time and rely on Google, the staff and IT telling the truth....because the data centres are MASSIVE and designed to survive natural disasters, power cuts, fires.... because the Internet was designed for the military to be able to communicate during a nuclear war! I've been so appreciative of you Hakim and Yugopnik past couple years. The Deprogram got me reading Marx and Lenin and organising locally and since October 7th listening to you folks and other like minded sources has kept the darkness at bay in me. To know how sincerely not alone we are on the side of liberation is essential. I like in England and the propaganda here is intense as I imagine it is in the states, it can make you feel so isolated especially if, like me, you live in an area that is exceedingly right wing.
This message of hope will sustain me today and I thank you for it.

I live in Germany, where in one of the states, pro-palestinian sentiments can pe punished as hate-speech.
The flyer about it, by the official Northrhine-Westphalian police says that "Likening the actions of the Israeli military to a genocide is hate speech" and while I agree that jews must be protected from anti-semitism, this isnt it.

The separation, which I only recently figured out, is that "Israel" is not "jews". I think criticism of the Israeli state should not be considered anti-semitism, it's not the same thing. Many won't make the separation.
Very comforting to see a platform with such a huge following telling the absolute truth. In the end only truth will prevail. Oppression, war and misinformation is prevalent in these times. Only God can save us.
