They added the 40 seconds to the 3 monutes they already had, you can either use it or not, it's up to you, they did because some genres need more time
It is repeated ad nauseam since the very start that a few 5 seconds over or under in any beatbox battle is not a concern. They just don't read the comment. From Bizkit v Mirsa, it's being mentioned about the extra 40 seconds, again they are confused, so can't help.
They extended the time this year for loops by 40 seconds. So most tracks will be 3 minutes long instead of 3:40. It’s not gonna be taken away from them if they end early

This should have been the Grand Final. By far the most epic Loopstation battle in history.
Because every looper has his own style and own genre, that’s why they added 40 seconds, some genres needs less time and some more time.
Robin’s rounds give me chills and Dice on the other hand is so young to be as good as he is. Zero mistakes and a perfect round for both. This battle is definitely next level.

-It can be a close battle and still 5-0, cause like you thought it was very close but preferred Robin, Judges can also think the same way.
-I think 30 seconds are given extra in loopstation category, So dice was on time.
Maybe technically sure but style wise and energy robin completely fucking owned dice this time ! Bro created a fucking jingle that was such a solid burn and compliment then ignores dices attempt to draw him into a battle to be like new fam I already won let me sing about my dead friend
This is about the 6th time I've seen this battle. Robin's second round really hit me hard this time. I was absolutely just grooving to it. Then I realized, so were you. It's a great track. Dice killed it but I don't think ANYONE was beating Robin this time. Great react. Keepitup
dont know if you ever notice but its like 3:40 instead of 3 minutes now so they have more freedom and time to set up their loops and make things more diverse so you can either make it end 30 seconds early which is the normal time 3 minutes or use extra time. or else they'll be playing the same beat over and over for 30 secs and become repetitive

I know a couple of people have commented on it but you can think of it like this, even though robin won 5-0, the judges score cards could have all been something among the lines of 51 for Robin and 49 for Dice so even though robin won 5-0 the judging was probably a lot closer than we know. could be cool if they released the score cards but at the end of the day, we're all here for some dope music being delivered from the mouth :^)
For people who don’t know robins 2nd round is dedicated to his best friend who sadly passed away. I believe his friend ended his life but I could be wrong .

sorry to say but robin is really good but gets really fast boring with his same routinish way of doing loopings. maybe if he showed some more diversity he wouldnt be skipped on so fast

Dice is just so quick to layer and make his track, something other loopers take a very long time to build their layers and sounds. Dice builds everything almost immediately, one of the fastest at doing it. Actually that's another reason why I think dice won because robin wasted the whole 1 minute and 30 seconds in his first round.
What made Robins 1st performance, was the fact he built that drop while doing the singing part and it came in as a full production out of seeming nowhere! The two had no similarities. It was entirely unexpected. When you hear the track come together, you can see where it came from. Robin took that element away from the audience with a masterful distraction in the form of a diss. Im new to this, let me know if Im missing something.
@@MarcelousTV that's not really special though, every looper is building the track silently while they make the rest of the track. It's not that amazing, because everyone is doing is, you just didn't expect it because it was silent recorded
@@GrowingDownUnderwym it isn’t special, one of the best Looper Inkie even pointed out that it was impressive that Robin was creating a whole different track in side of what’s already playing, and to snap back just on time
@@oxygencat6383 I usually agree with inkie, but here he's wrong it was a bad round from robin. Every looper does what robin does, you're always silent recording and basically every drop is doing the same thing as what robin is doing. I would argue the fact the whole first half of the round is wasted and irrelevant to the drop it actually makes the round even worse it's a waste of a round
Interesting, I feel like I need to watch more performances and battles to see what others do in this space. I've seen plenty of MB14 and BeardyMan but not many competitions with timed rounds. Who should I check out that does the type of thing that Robin did? Specifically, creating an entirely different Track while looping for the crowd something that sounds completely unrelated. It's like when I first saw an inverted leg flare in Break Dance, after being out of the scene for over a decade, it blew my mind. Then when I watched more, I found out that everyone was doing them. It's easy to be impressed by greatness, even if others can do the same thing. As with everything else in the world, I'm sure there are levels to this.
