This is the perfect video to show people that just don't get it! Running is great for fitness, but that is more a side effect for me. A bonus. Running is the way I keep off antidepressants. It's how I deal with anxiety. It's how I process my world. It's how I gain a short time of the day with a clear head. It helps prevent arguments, build relationships, make a better world for those that live with me. This short film really encapsulates the benefits of running that non-runners rarely hear about. Thank you

I started running at age seven. Since then I haven't stopped. Today I am fifty years old. I love running.

There’s something in this video that hits home to all runners, it still amazes me how something so simple can have so many benefits on so many levels and connect people no matter who they are.

Every runner can relate to the messages in this film. We (myself included!) sometimes over complicate running with the latest shoe trends, technology, social media etc, but when it comes down to it embracing the simplicity, the freedom, the headspace, the sense of self fulfilment, the community - that is what makes running special. Great film, thanks for sharing.

The Running Charity is very proud to be involved in this film and share the stage with so many wonderful members of the running community. The young people and staff who feature in this piece believe in the power of running to transform lives and we are grateful for the opportunity to spread awareness of our work. Thank you to Get Shorty, Cinevents and the Skid Row Marathon team, for making this magic happen!

A wonderful inspiring video, the sort of video, but shortened that the BBC might show during a showing of a half or full marathon to inspire non-runners to take up running for whatever reason, at least get them to do some exercise.

I started running in the pandemic and I have never felt more connected to myself and the world around me. It's now not just a part of my routine it's a part of me. That's how I heal.

This video is everything. Excellent. Not only a great video to show ahead of Skid Row Marathon but as a stand alone short film which gets right to the core of why we run

    What? I’m not crying, you’re crying! 🥹
But seriously, this was just 🤯 I’m an avid runner and this inspired me, so I hope it inspires those to get out, to find what makes them happy, and strive for greatness within that happiness ❤️
