Just got back 3 x is a charm ...or not (1st time was 10rs ago 2nd was 5 yrs ago )and my fear/realization is that Belize HAS outpriced itself and i am truly and genuinely concerned because it was sooo MUCH dirtier this time (household garbage /plastic bottles /bags ) strewn everywhere and it wont take long to become a landfill unless the government steps up !!! 5.00 belize dollars for min wage for locals and 20 usd a plate for meals and 7 usd for a gallon of gas?Hate to admit it but when AMERICA moves in its always baaadddd in the end .Heed my warning ,been around long enough to know when to fold em,buyer beware .

Why is the owner only allowed to stay for 6 weeks?
Many resorts rent out for you, and the rules state the 6 weeks in some cases.
