Totally need a peanut butter and syrup sandwich to go with that chili! I featured that as a meal in one of my camp videos and people hadn't ever heard of it! New subscriber here!
Hey bud, just stumbled on your channel, and decided to subscribe. I enjoy simple truck camping videos. I have a small channel of my own PNW Outdoor Life. Mostly travel trailer camping videos but I just built a custom truck camper. Build videos to come. Anyhow enjoyed your video, and look forward to more.
It was ok at first, but only a few years later the batteries are starting to fail (I also have the 40v Greenworks Weed trimmer). They never worked in cold weather very well (as most lithium's don't). For around a house or cutting a little firewood at camp they are ok and quiet. But if you are relying on it to cut your way past wind fallen trees, or clearing a trail in spring thaw, just not good enough to rely on. there is no way to recharge in the field without a significant power source, and even with two batteries I have found myself having to revert to my hand saw on a bad trail with lots of trees down. They can cut well if you let the saw do the work and keep the chain sharp, but performance tanks if its below 35deg or when cutting thick green or wet wood. When the batteries wear out, not much to do but toss them and buy new and they are the cost of a decent gas saw or more. My last gas saw lasted me about 22 years before finally replacing it. I think gas is a better investment long term. Electric is ok for home or if you want to be quiet while cutting. No pull starting with electric. They both have their place, but if I could only pick one it would be gas, I like having both. Hope this helps!
@RatherBeWheeling there is another camping Channel that I watch it's called Casey's Adventures and he had one I liked it so much I bought one for myself and I love it
@@kylemoseley2239 Same here, but different channel, I think it was "where's Wiseman". Really like being able to put the fire where ever, and its great in the winter up off the cold wet ground, and way less smoke. Really like it!

Ha ha , sounds good Ill have to try it. I normally have cornbread with honey, I can see how the peanut butter and syrup would be similar flavors!

I’ve been looking at getting an electric chainsaw. What do you think of the one you have? How do you like it?
