As much as this new series sucks, I was actually worried the Rowdyruff Boys wouldn't exist in this continuity. They wrote out Ms. Bellum, so you could imagine why I was concerned about the Rowdyruffs' fate.
The fact they exists here worries me.

Well yeah, true though. I'm here reflecting back on what I watched when I was at least 8. And the Rowdyruff Boys were pretty much the only reason why I enjoyed the series. So I'm happy that they made a cameo in the new series which I don't watch because I prefer the classic.
I'm worried that if the boys have their own episode in the future the reboot's bad writing will ruin them like the girls.

I like the RRB personally. I admit they aren’t the most well-developed villains. But they fun and enjoyable to see when ever there around. Also they gave us one the best fighting scenes in the show so that’s even more reason to like them. :)
Yes they do have strong personalities they are exactly like the ppg but mean. Modern Buttercup already acts like a Rowdyruff boy.

Yeah, I've always enjoyed them as characters because they're just really fun in my personal opinion. I wish they were developed a bit more in the original because I believe that a lot could have been done with them, but that gives us fans more rooms to develop them as characters. It's partially why I love OG PPG to, it's such an open sandbox with what you can do creatively and while everybody is developed and established, you can still build onto it and create endless possibilities.
@@icecreamhero2375 No, they really don't. "Exactly like the PPG but mean" isn't exactly a strong personality. They kind of had a good idea in "The Boys are Back in Town". Butch was very twitchy and seemed more unstable than the rest of them? Boomer was more absent-minded and easily distracted. And Brick was very abrasive and overtly self-centered as a leader. But that kinda got thrown out of the window too because they aren't as distinct in _other_ episodes like Bubble Boy or Boy Toys.
Why does Boomer have Bubbles' eye colour? His eyes are supposed to be a darker blue.

I hated how the Gangreen Gang, Mojo Jojo, and fuzzy were implemented but weren't given any info plus people who've never seen the original quote from Pan Pizza: "Are not going to get it."
The only chance is if they go back and watch the original but they probably won't do that.

Welp, the 18 month wait for your review on this episode should be worth it.
While I love the Rowdyruff Boys, I feel like they are not going to make use of them. Their just there for a ratings trap. Just like you said in your Last Donnycorn review, no body is following the reboot despite the RRB recent appearance. Once this reboot is over, it will be dated and forgotten in time. Like a turd. In the wind.

Anyone who isn’t familiar with the original or the Rowdyruff boys will be confused on who these look alike characters are? If this is a simple cameo, and nothing more (for the rest of the series) than I guess it doesn’t really matter all that’s much. For anyone who is familiar with the old series or the boys I can see it being not bad, but not good since it’s simple cameo that just exists and nothing more. At least it wasn’t a boy band as some feared.
The fact that it's only a few seconds, means their characters are still intact to me.

I said it before, I am not a big fan of The Rowdyruff Boys. But despite that, upon reading the title I thought "now the reboot is gonna flanderize them too, huh?" I felt better knowing it's a 10 second non-speaking role.

I always have been crossing my fingers for the RRB to return again, but maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up if it's just cameos like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit has in 2 or 3 of the 2013 Mickey Mouse shorts and even I've been crossing my fingers for Oswald to have an actual role as a new main character or at least a recurring character in the series.
Oh boy I had a feeling they'd bring them in eventually. I've actually always liked the boys and always felt they would really like the girls IF they were older. Being each group is 5 years old I get they're at the"ew girls/boys are gross stage" of life so I don't expect them to be crushing on eachother in the show or anything.

Honestly I heard of this but I didn’t believe it at first. Also I don’t really ship them except Bubbles and Boomer. And even then I only see them as just friends (NOT PLATONIC YOU OTHER PEOPLE FRIENDSHIP IS A THING)!!! Anyway as part of the PPG fandom community I’ve seen plenty of people who take it all the way with the shipping. There was even a little debate about someone role playing as Bunny liking Butch. I'm so glad this is just a small cameo, otherwise I feel truly disappointed If they did ruin them unlike there anime counterparts who I truly admire the most due to there true sleazy tricks and can sometime be scary. I will say, I like the detail in the kart of boys, It's the fact that they have a similarly designed kart with a different style, countering and being the opposite of the girls.

Though I see them more as distant cousins judging by the episodes stating that in technicality, Mojo created the girls.
mojo jojo is technically the ppg's brother. his sons are the rrb. the ppg are the rrb's aunts.
Mojo created the Girls indirectly, but he was adopted by the Professor...what?

Mojo created the girls indirectly/incidently when he went back in time and gave the professor the idea and pushed him to smash the vile of Chem. X, yet the Professor is their father and in a way, Mojo is too due to him being the sole reason they exist in the first place. Mojo directly created the boys using a similar/the same method, and was later adopted by HIM. This little dilema in their relations including time and such, is really funny to me. lmao

Bubble Boy Cut Scene:
While Bubbles in disguised as Boomer and is hanging out with the Brick and Butch, they find an orb that lets them time travel into the future. They decide to show up in this PPG Reboot episode and blow up, thus making them return to their world an the orb breaks.
(This should be a good clear up for the reason why Boomer had Bubble's eyes)

The surprising thing is this was a One-Time Thing
To this day I can’t decide if should be happy or sad about showing them once, on one hand blowing them up was an act of mercy, on the other hand I'm upset upset that they only showed up once and got blown up.
I watched the episode on the cn app and they’re only shown for a few seconds before being eliminated from the race. They don’t even have speaking lines.

I never knew the RRB appaered in the new series! APparently only a cameo. I drew a pic of the Ruffs once in their "totally rad Roller" as they were left out of the race in the final PPG episode of the original series. This looks very like the pic I drew.

Kinda seems like a random cameo. The people/fans watching who aren't familiar with the original likely won't know why their male PPG clones or why they're a big deal to the PPG themselves when they're taken care of so easily, and the few older fans who see the cameo likely aren't gonna be all that hyped for a 10 second mute cameo.
