I can somehow understand why a performance is uploaded because of the "occasion". But my question is (and I don't mean it in any snarky way): is it warranted for YT viewers to be subjected to a substandard visual and sound quality of what could have been a potentially enjoyable viewing experience ? Just asking. Luke - I still believe you have loads of talent and that you will go far in the field of musical theatre. :)) +
This comes across as kind of rude. I guess the bigger question is would you prefer to have a "low quality" version of something or not get to see it at all?
@@charlottesreadsthings211 Read my comment WITH UNDERSTANDING sweetheart and not just as your user name says "reads things". I think I tried to get my point across in the KINDEST way possible. And yes if I have to choose between "not seeing" and "low quality" I would choose the former each and every time. If you put yourself and your product out there in public domain you must at least expect fair comment - favourable or otherwise. So please don't irritate me with your goody two shoes kind little auntie amateurishness. You want rude sweetheart, you got it. 👎👎👎👎
@@danieburger5290 Funny how rather than just clarifying that I am reading wrong you went full out to the extreme. Interesting how you call me out for apparently "not reading properly" but then go down the same route yourself. No one forced you to watch this video and if you call a video of someone's performance "substandard" then I'd love to see what you say when you really really want to be nice. I mean, if you put a comment out into the public domain you should expect responses "favourable or otherwise."
Danie Burger I guess it’s just personal preference, I think this performance is amazing and it’s even more of a showcase of Lukes talent that he sounds this good on this quality of video recording. I understand you weren’t trying to be rude but I can appreciate for some people it may come across that way, specifically with your wording of certain sentences. For example how you say “is it warranted for YT viewers to be subjected” sounds like someone is being forced to watch it, anyone can easily click on this video listen to the first 30 seconds to a minute, decide they don’t like it and click off. Just something to bear in mind, I think both of you have great points and just don’t want anyone to get hurt over what someone else believes. Hope you both have lovely days and thank you Luke for this piece of art
@@charlottesreadsthings211 Sorry avid reader - it's just that I don't suffer fools gladly (or theatrical ignoramuses for that matter). I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to understand that I said more positive things in my comment to Luke (read: to Luke) than the initial qualm I raised. You chose to jump on the bandwagon totally uninvited with an old auntie, misguided oh shame comment. I am subscribed to this channel and therefore view everything that is uploaded. You my dear will NOT prescribe what I may or may not watch or comment on. By implication you are saying that you may criticise me but God help me if I respond. Come on girl, get real. For your information I have given Luke extremely positive feedback and warm praise as recently as this morning for a HD cover he did i.e. apart from the positivity I fed him in this comment. And so many other praise songs. So please don't even try to be oh so patronising, condescending with me. And just to reiterate: this video ( and NOT his performance ) is substandard. Period. Once again misread/misinterpreted. Spectacles ? ?
