I'm able to get 80-90fps on bf1 high textures everything else medium on 1200p using afmf2, that's literally crazy same frames at the same setting and resolution as my desktop PC with a gtx1070
I should wait for the new Legion go models to be released or would you prefer this model as well? (Actually, I liked Legion Go very much, but I am worried about the battery life..)
Go for ally x if you are worried about battery life or wait for legion go 2nd model. I’m currently using legion go and I love it so much but I wish it gives me more battery life. Currently Im able to play for 3hrs at 10W. (Lies of P 800P 36FPS). 15W will give you just above 2hrs of battery life(good Wattage for games like GOW/witcher 3/cyberpunk 40FPS. I would recommend 17W only for very demanding games such as starfield 30FPS which probably would give you around 1hr40minutes of gameplay. Overall the battery life is decent but now that we have 80w on the ally x can’t lie about me not being jealous.
If you could get the base model for the Go at their sale price of around $550 then go for it cause the Go 2 will be a lot more expensive like $800 I bet if they're gonna put a bigger battery in there. With the money you be saving just get an external battery. If you want more performance then just wait for the Strix Point handhelds instead. It's about a 10%-20% difference. I currently have the Go but will be upgrading to that either from Asus or Lenovo whoever makes a large screen model. I got the OG Ally as well and it's awesome as it's hooked up to an XGM too.
@@GoodValues1 Ally x is unfortunately not sold in the country where I am located. Anyway, the ally x screen is also small, but yes, it has a really good battery. As for the Legion go, I still haven't made up my mind, but I think the battery of a handheld console should go more. Do you think we will see new models towards the end of this year ? (By the way, thank you for your detailed information.)
Do you have a video on how to activate AFMF successfully? I don’t get the green check to indicate that is active, I do notice you have the screen in vertical position.
AFMF1 doesn’t work with Legion Go; only AFMF2 works with the specific Adrenalin 24.20.01.02 driver. Additionally, for some games, I have to reinstall them after installing the new driver to make them work. The Adrenalin software appears vertical in-game because of the native portrait screen. If it shows in landscape mode, it means the Adrenalin software doesn’t detect the game.
Your device also doesn't seem to have GPU clocks going up from 937Mhz any more, but it seems to be bugged. Why is no one pointing this out? Originally, gpu clock should be over 1000Mhz, isn't that weird?
