Just so you can tell your friend for the future - If you quit the raid by disconnecting or quitting the game instead of clicking "leave raid", thats why you get locked out. however you will get a ticket back in probably 2 days.
This video validates how my own solo clown experience went as a new raider. Also I did NOT know where was a place to practice mario 3. That is a game changer. I love this series!!!!
@@IntoTheCrawlspace After spending a lot of time practicing in Trixion, I now feel like mario 1 and 3 are my calm times during the raid lmfao. Just re watched for fun and I laugh every time you say "....brother..." xd

@@IntoTheCrawlspace It took 3 days for me to clear as BK. That shit was hard, especially for me who is not patience, i died from falling 90% of the times lol
For anyone who struggles with Mario 3 first jump, you can hold your D key right from the beginning and jump right away you will have perfect timing always
Also noticed they seem to have made it easier, significantly less timings that will have the ball push you off now (coming from someone whom always died on this first jump). I remarked about this in the video, but cut it for time.
In order to quit raid without losing your entry for the week: press the "stop" button in the top left. Do not just alt+f4 the game, since that leaves your character in raid but disconnected.

to confirm yes for GL they got the patch around echida release in KR that their meter gain got reduced when their shield is up same with arti turret mode. we got that patch some time far later after KR.
The fun part is that going through them with a different class will be almost as difficult as the first time due to different positioning. By the way, I spent 22 hours and about 140 attempts on G4 Brelshaza :3
The best part is, normal or hard mode mechanics are not the same as solo mode. So you’ll still have more to learn in these raids. I will admit, getting some raid mats and little gold is a good start.
The meter gain in G3 solo is a lot slower than the real raid. I recommend getting 50% meter before the flame tower even spawns. In normal mode you could go from 0% to 100% when mario entrance mech starts, but in solo even starting at 25% is really hard to get enough meter. Gunlancer should definitely turn OFF their shield identity for meter generation or else they will gain almost zero meter at all.
My biggest advice for clown near ilvl solo is to bring atros and to know how to burst once you know his patterns xD this is the worse raid to solo near ilvl, I was memeing around on my sorc that was 5 lvls above clown and with the 5x3 supporrt with NO gems I was able to clear all of it but my bingo board at the end was almost completely full xD
Hi! My item level is 1540 (items are at level +15), it did not require gold while honing up to this level. Now it starts asking for gold for every honing? Is this normal or is there something else I need to do? I thought they removed the gold requirement for honing.
Honestly, even tho Gate 3 Saydon has less health, it is way harder dealing with it solo. Too many things to pay attention that would otherwise be shared.
I can't handle Valtan yet xddd Well I'm having a hard time understanding the parries and I die because he throws me into the void but then I train the parries a bit, I think it's because I try to parry him maybe from afar because my counter attack has a dash but he doesn't get it, I'm getting the hang of it
Solo raid is by no means easy but it is stress free and anxiety free. Another thing is you don't have to worry about time issues as you can leave whenever you want and come back later but for party raid you can't do that. And last but not least.... PLEASE BUFF THE GOLD REWARDS
Yeah I couldn’t tell when he was playing, don’t know if it was a nerf in normal I just never noticed, but on my solo run I was going into Mario 3 with no difficulty via just the balls
@@IntoTheCrawlspace yeah very strange change. it's not like they did any significant damage in normal anyway. but also now that teaches the wrong thing to learners cause in normal you want to prioritize flame turret ?_?

@@IntoTheCrawlspace I don't know if it was even a choice rather than just blindly nerfing damage and guage generation. I ended up holding dps until 70% guage at the start because just naturally dpsing never gave me enough time.
I found in my solo runs the balls gauge gain seemed higher? I don't think in regular clown I was ever able to fully juice from the balls, but I swear in solo they were getting me there a majority of the time. Especially on runs where they seem to overlap, which seems to be a common occurrence in solo.
Just clear Gate3 clown once and only do Gates 1&2 after that. Same with Brelshaza. That extra time and stress on the final gate ismt worth the extra little gold or mats. The first few gates are super easy once you understand but Mario and final gate of Brel is just meh, not worth the squeeze.
nice, but don't tell a gunlancer to throw whirlewind grens, he has way to much stagger to need that for those easy ones. bash, shield bash and shield shock are excellent stagger skills with "low" cooldown.
I blitzed through it in the edit, but usually the deaths at showtime were due to him zoning out and not getting the first one aha. When he was locked it was fine, but at the tail end he was zoning hard.

I just have slowly forced myself to learn how to function in it and try to get better at it. I just really enjoy the combat, even if I lack the skill. Eventually these raids stop being so overwhelming and you get a flow to your class and the enjoyment shines. You just gotta put a little time to get there, but of course that’s only if u want to aha
Like the format, like the gameplay which is actually fun to watch compared to other games. Hate the game. Still the same shit show like before. Just doing a daily or another chaos dungeon is already increasing my blood pressure. Doing honing is completely tilting me these days.
