If we were to go to this hotel mid October… would the bar that is only open in the summer months be a big miss, or is there plenty of others around the pool that would still be open? (11th-15th oct)
I contacted the hotel on your behalf, and they say the pool bar "can" still be open in October, depending on the weather. Failing that, their cafe bar on the ground floor is always open, and you can take drinks from there to the pool area in cardboard cups. Hope this helps! ❤️☀️🇪🇸🌊👍🏻🥤

Hi again Tom! The hotel says.. "Regarding the All-Inclusive option, snacks are available even in Winter months as we have another bar in the lobby, not just only the pool bar". So you won't go hungry it seems! Happy to help ☺️👍🏻
For people like my friend who is disabled, as motability Cars aren't allowed within the hotel, so, my friend would have to use his crutches, but are the scooters allowed up to the bedrooms for security and chargiing?
Also do you know if people on peretoneal dialysis are allowed to the hotel? Only they have specific requirements and I don't want to book or risk booking if they can't handle all disabled people.
I will also add at this point, not all disabled accessible accomodation will be able to accept all disabilities. It is difficult for any hotel or accomodation to be able to provide all tools needed for all different patients.
For me, it's just the dialysis I need to know about, as no matter where he goes in the world, we need to arrange dialysis fluid to be at the hotel when he turns up, then more fluid that he might not use but is there incase he had a bad day, but then there's the other fluid... It's long and complicated and while I'm trained to set up the machine, I wouldn't, for anyone other than who I'm asked to by the local PD nurses (that call will never happen btw).
So yeah, not all hotels can be fully disabled accessible, but could you possibly explain what disabled access is like?

Hi there, if you hire from the company Amigo 24 you can charge your scooter for free, otherwise it is €4 per day. Hope this helps! 😊👍🏻

Hi there, the Melia is currently rated 69th out of 198 Benidorm hotels on Tripadvisor UK (as voted by reviewers) and the Pelicanos is 97th so I think that gives you an idea of the general opinion.. having said that a lot of it is due to personal preference; I think the Melia is high quality with a nice bar and that lovely pool and gardens.. but lots of people love the Pelicanos entertainment and pool (used in the Benidorm TV series!) and the very close proximity to the nightlife. Hi, I have no personal experience of this hotel at all, sorry, but I do know that the main complaints about it are that there aren't enough lifts, the hotel is aimed at the Spanish and it's too far out of Benidorm for some. But if these people had researched Tripadvisor reviews beforehand, all this would have been obvious! So maybe check out that site too 🙂🏢🇪🇦💕

The hotel says that if you want to smoke, you have to leave the premises and smoke on the street 🏢👍🏻🚭

Was there 1st week in may nice hotel lovely staff , too many same sex groups effing and blinding all day long tho won’t be returning
