The vinegar wash works good 👍🏻 i also use Bar Keepers Friend it’s a powder that you use water and a cloth and just rub it on and rub it off and it doesn’t give copper or brass that pinkish colour! Great Video JC CheeRs 🤘🏻♻️👍🏻
Good job cleaning the copper with the low grade vinegar. I use a very similar system. I guess I will have to do a video on it someday. Thaks for sharing.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Just a thought.🤔 If you got the better stuff, you could add 2 gallons of distilled water, making 3 gallons, and it would be stronger than what you started with and maybe take less time.🤔
@scrapitjc thx for the reply. I stockpile copper as well. I recently started casting finger bars to use in silver recovery. Beats buying tubes from home depot....
That must be a magic red bucket. GJ JC
Red BASKET. Lol
My scrap yard would accept that as bare bright. I'm definitely going to keep this in mind if I ever need to use it. Thanks for sharing.
I will find out eventually but right now I am stockpiling my copper. And thank you very much for joining the channel I joined yours as well

Great results
It is great..
Yeah its a success absolutely
Now let's just see what the yard will give me for it
Thats crazy!!! Wow!! Several ends of some that I stripped was dark black so I cut it off!!! It wasn’t a lot off but now I wish I hadn’t
Future knowledge for when you come across it again. I have a 5gal bucket of small cuts I'm saving up that are blacked out.
without going through all the comments...did the scrap yard take it as bare bright?
No unfortunately, they did take it as #1. Some of the copper they did give me BB, but not all. When most yards would give you #2
First nice copper
I just might try that
You get the insider tips, lol

Good food for thought
Did you get the upgrade? Im also curious if the vinegar is an oxidizer and storage made it green again?
I did get the upgraded price, I rinsed them and brought them in the next day. Never gave it a chance to oxidize. And vinegar is acidic

What was the 95%& 5% please
5% vinegar by concentrate. 95% water
@@scrapitjc thanks a lot
