@@1988UB I steadied my hand and got the glue on just the right spot all the way around. You’ll want to go more towards the outside edges because if it gets on the outside you can remove it with some acetone on a qtip or scrape it off and it won’t damage anything.

It is possible to replace the digitizer, but that's really difficult. You need special tools and skills. It's so much easier to just buy a whole new display. You can buy them for cheap on AliExpress.

Even going past the huge mistake of not reinstalling the metal clamp that may eventually lead to the ribbon cable to unplug itself, just the fact you used metal prying tools on a painted aluminium body shows the lack of expertise already. The body must be all scratched up by the end of the job.

Glueing things back together is always a fucking mess. Avoid at any cost. I just messed up mine.

@@1988UB also mine was a bit different and I had to remove the back and the battery. It’s still pretty simple though.
