I know Hayashi-san tends to make his videos private after livestreaming so I really made sure to record this. I am deeply grateful for this upload! Thank you!! I am not sure why that is, but this journey of 10 young people, with this music... this changed me. I always found running cool, though I was the slowest kid in the neighbourhood back in the day. KazeTsuyo persuaded me to go out there and log the kms, until I could eventually run my own Half marathon in 1:40:00. Not exactly a world record, but I am very proud of it nonetheless. Running truly is a metaphor for life, and I so appreciate the last 10 monologues we get, instead of a suspense-filled race. Truly a masterpiece I will always cherish. I also have had ups and downs with running (and life), but this show and OST was always there to kinda pick me up when it got really hard. Recently, it did after a 3-month running hiatus. Might be a little weird for some, but I can totally revive my love for running after re-living this experience. I like to dream I might be able to run an Ekiden sometime in the future. Who knows!
