"Way Bryatt!"
We're LIVE, pal. (just kidding)
oh my gosh , i thought it was actually right Lol
Sid the man. Aged well as well
Waylon Mercy was awesome but Danny was a little beat down physically by then.
He later had hip and knee replacement.
You can even see it while he was wrestling.
He liked to beat off more like
Danny Spivey as tough as he was,he liked working stiff and loved it when his opponents did the same,it took its toll
Still what an awesome dude!!!
No shit @@rexgamewell
The Skyscrapers ruled
Hey do you watch Jimi the hobo?
@@NewWaveFan1 no who’s he

I’ve always enjoyed Sid Vicious! Great talent and first class all the way!
The Mercy gimmick was immense. He damaged his knee early on in his Waylon run - I think in a match with Kevin Nash which put an end to it. Shame as it was def getting over with fans. I remember a particular match when the crowd wanted Mercy to eradicate Doink with 'Kill the clown' chants echoing merrily around including many kids joining in!
I imagine it could be a combination of such injuries mate. You could be right about the back - not sure of myself if it was the knee or not now.
Yes, the crowd was cheering for him as he appeared more! There was nothing like it in the WWF at the time, it fit in more with the attitude era!
doink and mercy would have made an awesome tag team. that was too much for them though
Lol I can't equate Eudy in interviews, calm, descriptive and affable, with the absolute physco that old Sid was.
Same thing with Vader(RIP) his normal speaking voice/mannerisms were so different than the over-the-top bombast of his in-character persona
In fairness, anyone who is sitting in Winnipeg is likely to look at the person next to them and ask them “please drive me to the airport”
It's not even a real country anyway😂
Airline tickets are gonna be in Waylon Mercy's hands....heh heh heh.......ya know what I mean?...
Waylon Mercy had potential to really be a great long term character. I think given a younger Dan Spivey and a push, he would have surpassed Bray Wyatt. Bray is too short and laughs and smiles too much. He doesn't have that same legit craze in his eyes that Danny had. Waylon was polite and shaking everyone's hand but it was unsettling because you could see the character was crazy. Danny really bought into the character in a way that Bray hasn't.
R.I.P. Bray Wyatt
Way Bryatt
Bret Hart said that once too
Lol, that went past me!😆
Chris Booker I think I heard him say it too and didn’t notice😆
🙄smdh. Somebody always has to bring up peoples mistakes like it fuckin matters. Gtfoh
Yeah 😂 ain't like Sid is known for messing up interviews/promos
its weird hearing Sud talk like a normal person!
Sid Vicious !!!!
nah bro thats Sid Justice !!!!!
@@masterfulsky Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, Sycho Sid, or simply Sid!! 😉😎
You are all wrong, chumps. It's Lord Humongous.
@@OdaVenom aaawe whatever lol I hear u tho 😂😂
This might sound weird, but I feel like i could sit and listen to Sid talk all day. He gives great answers, puts a lot of careful thought to them too, and tells great stories. He just seems like a real chill guy to hang out with and reminisce. I would definitely tell him i was a huge fan of the Sycho Sid gimmick, and his matches back in those days were some of the most enjoyable to watch. He deserved more wins and longer rivalry storylines.
Dan Spivey has said that is the biggest regret of his career that his body broke down and he was forced to retire. He loved the concept of the Waylon Mercy character and really regrets the chance that he didn't get to do more with it. gimmick
1:15 I love Way Bryatt
When I was young I used to think that Sid was actually crazy in real life! I was so scared of him!
sid your a legend mate
Danny Spivey and The Undertaker are examples of what the wrong gimmick and the right gimmick can do for your career.
nordhorny yeak Taker was a great worker. Just listen to Corny talk about all three skyscrapers 🤣
@nordhorny No I dont nor I need anyone to tell me anything. I saw it myself. Yes at the end Taker came in the better end and his ethics obviously help, but Taker was a low carder in the early days. Danny Spivey was on his way to top carder but he just didnt get the right gimmick to get him over and Taker got over big time because of the Taker gimmick. Thats a fact, jack.
@nordhorny Corny talks on how people saw that Mark Callaway had talent and would go far, whereas Sid was limited and green and Spivey wasn't very good wanting to work like a road warrior where he didn't' fit that gimmick.
I disagree. I think Spivey was just towards his wrestling end and beat up physically. He fit the character and killed! It was just unfortunate that his body was failing him. Spivey was bad ass
@@ioio8687 Spivey wouldn’t have taken the Taker gimmick to a tenth of the heights that Calloway did. Can you imagine Spivey trying to walk along the top rope? LOLZ
Dan Spivey took time out of his day to talk to some inner city youth kids at a school for me. That to me makes Dan one of the greatest. Much love for Dangerous Dan the Left Hand Man.😉
Those were two guys I was like I ain't taking no bumps from, both of their powerbombs were out of this world!! Skyscrapers
Who would have thought when Sid got hurt a young Mean Mark would replace him and become one of the biggest stars ever.
Lives are gonna be in Waylon Mercy's hands
Nice to see Sid Looking well, and being willing to give his opinion!
Legend!!!!! Dats it PERIOD!!
You heard it here for the 1,000,000th time, folks.
Brilliant video dividing it into segments to get more views
Waylon Mercy was just a copy of De Niro's character Max Cady from the movie Cape Fear.
Dan Spivey ruining Adrian's eventual run at Hogan is probably the most talked about next to Ken Shamrock confronting Knobbs
New Jack also best the crap out of knobs in the locker room at an Indy show. Knobs told new jack to "shut up" and Jack waxed him.
@@dudewithtitsKnobs allegedly added the "N" word to what he said to New Jack
He reminds me of Bo Svenson
I remember the Mercy vs Vega promo where Mercy said, he'd feed Vega a good meal of red beans and rice, and then put him to sleeeeep
6 time world champion sid
President bush has been eating good😂😂😂
My understanding was Mr Mercy decided to hang it up from the WWE/WWF when he lost to Barry Horowitz and a man of his stature and rank in life couldn't take that sort of humiliation and set back... so he left soon after!
Aw Sid, twice the man I am with half the brain I have.
sid is the only person who indicates dan's rep as a tough guy is overblown. all the evidence points to otherwise
Sid downplays it because he dosen't want to give the wrong impression of who Dan was/is.Yeah its known that Spivey was a legit tough guy,but he was also a good friend to many in the business including Sid.Had it not been for Adrian Adonis getting on Spivey's bad side one time too many it'd probably have been a well kept secret about Dan's lethal right hand.Notice how when people mention how tough Haku is its brief???Because there is a different side to him that needed to be highlighted and celebrated much more.Tough guys are a dime a dozen. The badass that can avoid having to show it is that much more impressive
The problem is and was how Waylon was wearing his pants
The Waylon mercy gimmick had a lot of potential. If you watch the vinigettes you get a feel for how menacing the character is. Dresses unasumingly and projects a facade of calmness, but as the music shifts to an unsettling discord and it's clear in his eyes that the character is psychotic, it's quite well done. Whereas Bray tends to come across as campy at times.
That goes to show how over Waylon Mercy would of been today everone had used up Ted Dibiase gimmick to death
'Camp' is already an adjective. 'Campy' is redundant conjugation. You're cluttering up the internet pointlessly.
@@herbert9241 The internet has been cluttered up pointlessly since it's inception. You're giving me far too much credit, but thanks anyways!
@@dilpickles5928 - Bravo! A response with humour - that's what I like to see.

Sid is much better than Dan Spivey.

Come to AEW SID.

Kin to Randy Orton?! 🤔
Wade Bryan lol
Hire Sid and people for a year will love the big monster just powerbomb someone n leave. And be bored after a year. Hire arn Anderson and get ten years worth of different matches
As tough as he was, Spivey was the shits in the ring
I just took a huge dump
