Some really great shots of some class traction The sight of a Class 40 under load reminds me of years (decades!) back and my spotting days on the Calder Valley line near Rochdale.
Another top notch vid Luke 👏👏 The 37 opening up at Denton and under the roof at York my highlight. Sent a thanks for a few coffees on the next 24 hr vid have a great break.!👏👏👏👏
CHOPPERZ!!!!!!! love a chopper, and of course the Tractors! still cant get to grips with 69s..... bloody grids that sound wrong! :D :D good stuff matey, keep it up!
The Northumberland line will be worth a visit when it opens, I live In Cramlington. It closed in the 1960s during the Beeching cuts. The railways aren’t what they used to be, I missed all the steam trains. I was born in 1972, I got intrested in trains in 1980 . I used to hear a shunter , parcels in Oldham Clegg street shed. Unfortunately I felt so sad when they closed that railway parcels depot, and took the railway bridge out. In 1982
Was a massive shame, I was never around to see it all sadly but would have loved it. Even going back to the Delph Donkey which would have been fantastic.
Another great video Luke. Thanks for that. I loved the video of the 5 Freightliners. Great to see all that power running together. Have you decided when you will be at Stafford yet. Cheers and Regards Colin👍👍
Cheers Colin, that longer than usual Freightliner convoy was a nice surprise for me too! No news on Stafford yet, waiting on a day of special moves to get down there.
Thanks Luke another great video and in my opinion the best out there. Always look forward to them and as for the drone shots fantastic so a big thumbs up to the pilot. Also watching your videos as given me ideas for my new layout of diggle. Thanks once again
Enjoyed your video, hope you have a good holiday, I live just under two miles from Severn Valley Railway, and BR main line is bottom of garden, on 19th saw 29129/20142 on their way home🚂🚂🚂
Thanks a lot Anthony, really appreciate that mate. Because the content is free to watch it always means a lot when people feel like it's worth donating something towards, rest assured it will be fed back into the channel to make better and better videos as it always does.
I would like to see a line that hasn’t been opened for a very very long time, Oldham Ashton Guide Bridge railway since Oldham lost its station. Let’s support the opening of that line . Let’s bring it back.
Another brilliant one from you Luke. Great bit of action especially the railtours at Diggle. Great 37s as well. Another gooden from you! You do fantastic making these. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Great stuff again Luke! Too many excellent clips to pick a favourite. although soundwise I thought the West Coast 37 pulling away through the tunnel was epic! Enjoy your holiday!
I’d have trouble picking a highlight for this one mate, hell of a month. I left that clip a bit longer to listen to it blasting into the tunnel so I’m glad you enjoyed that one 👍🏻
Another great episode Luke and of course it was fantastic to see the shots of Andania my Grandads old loco, particularly the drone shots really cool..we also visited the KWVR gala and enjoyed a brake van ride behind 37250 it was an excellent gala blessed by good weather as well. Hope you have the same on your holidays. Harry
Thanks very much Harry, it was a scorching weekend over there, can't beat it when it's like that glad to hear you enjoyed it too. Wish i'd have bumped into you.
Another epic video Luke! Can someone tell me what the purpose is of a loco pulling a bunch of other locos? Where would they be moved to and why? (Sorry if this is a very stupid question)
Cheers Dave, much appreciated 👍🏻 it’s usually that they’ve been for repair or just need moving to another yard to pick up trains for the following days.
Hi mate, I use a website called realtimetrains, give it a search on Google. Go to the detailed section, put in your nearest station and viola, it will show you everything 👍
Hello I'm a new subscriber very impressed with your work just wanted to pick your brain on the equipment you use I use a pocket 2 cam order and phone looking at getting a action camera also where do you get the pictures of the locos from great to find the channel
Thanks very much mate! I use an iPhone mostly and a bunch of equipment for sound and steadiness etc, you should find a list of everything in detail at the bottom of every videos description 👍🏻 in terms of the loco icons they’re mostly pictures of models or screenshots and take a lot of work to make them all uniform, fortunately they’re so small it makes it easier.
Saved the best 'til last, I see 😉. A Champion effort! 👏👏👏
Haha of course 😉 cheers mate.
Great video. 👍
Thanks a lot Paul 👍🏻
Best one yet
Thanks a lot Tim, think I might agree with you there!
