Massive freight action around North Geelong 3/7/24

since the birth the geelong line, north geelong yards have been a massive role for many contactors in the 50s and 40s. The yard use to hold every type of cargo from sand, cement, containers, logs and food from Warrnambool to Melbourne now the only left the yard holds in grain to the port just outside the yards. Grain coming the western sides of Victoria are shipped off to where ever. everyday 2-3 of these grain trains come from the west to north geelong today the 3rd of July 2024 only 3 grains were rostered for unloading, this was the first one hauled by G522 XR550 X551 arrived into the yards around midnight were the shut down and unloaded at morning also due in was two G classes G543 and G531 both wearing different liveries (FA and PN) after coming from Deniliquin, just outside is the western mainline Sg to Adelaide and Perth we got a shot of 7902V hauled by G520 BL32 and BL33 from Mildura which is the only train that runs there. On a different gauge and different place from the northeast line was 3CM6 from Oaklands hauled by BL31 BL26 and 8167 with its SG wagons which were to go ingot the grain loop later on that evening but i didn't stay around for it
