Indians love boxy stance, high Bonet, high gc.. it's not too different from EV perspective as well... And it's look like cross overs. Let it not be like the case of ZS & comet ev where initially doing good no in sales but after the honeymoon period the volumes decreases exponentially. I hope it defines itself as the right product with great product planning & positioning into the segment. MG is gonna have all the EVs to be launched in their pipeline...🎉🎉

For me it does make a lot of sense to opt for subscription model. I practically drive around 20-40 kms in city and get 9-12kmpl average. So annually i spend around 1 lakh in fuel and service. With this it would be just half of that + would get this around 12 lakhs on road which would be such a good thing. Another reason is i can spend hours in traffic without burning a hole in my pocket.

If you drive 30 kms per day, you only drive 900 kms in a month but with this subscription model you have to pay for 1500 kms per month minimum, plus they can revise the interest rate anytime they want. Plus on the car you own, the total per km cost comes down as you rake up the miles but here it will go up instead when subscription prices go up every year.

    90/100:
Good product, albeit with TWO FLAWS:
Good looks, spacious & taller. It ticks 90% of all expectations of Indians.
    Two problems:
1st problem is the smaller battery pack which can generate only a 230 km run. A larger battery pack (high range) is ESSENTIALLY required to CATER to long journey commuters. MG must RETHINK soon. Absence of provision of a long range battery will not be good for a family MPV.
2nd is No provision of spare wheel.
When Tata Sierra & KIA Siros get launched, it will be retirement time for MG Windsor unless and otherwise they come up with a long-range battery. Let's see.
The sooner MG provides a larger battery pack....the good for MG. Otherwise, it would be approaching the "retirement" stage i.e- Competition will eat up.

@3:38 we can see an Amaron battery. Recently Amaron had a tie with foreign lifepo4 battery manufacturers to make these batteries in India as well. Once of them were a Chinese company, Highstar i guess.
Not sure here they are using the imported cells from China or making them inhouse now, but good to see an Indian brand with lithium iron battery pack..

Headlight placement is not good. Can get damaged very easily. Otherwise, it’s good to have a new car in the market and not just an EV variant of an existing vehicle.

They have a hidden condition that you will be charged for atleast 18k km per year even if you use it for lets day 10k km that year. So you have to pay 63k min per year.

Prices should have be starting around 7 lakhs and so with additional cost or Subscription for battery...it would have been ground breaking...also 360" camera is a big miss.

If people go for car + battery it will cost around 15 Lakh for base variant which is equal to creta/seltos petrol car. And if people go for renting battery than 3.5 Rs/km rent for battery + charging cost (approx. 3 Rs/km for fast charging)...... this will be equal to diesel or a cng car running cost. price of upper models will further cost more. MG has smartly hidden this by qouting 9.99 Lakh price only for body shell. And the important part there is no such thing called warranty for 2nd users. If the 1st owner thinks he will drive less so he pay less, than he should also consider that car warranty is only for 3 years. If he wish to sell his car after 3 years, than there will be No resale value. As it has no warranty for 2nd customer, so by driving less in initial years first customer has not saved much. Renting out battery does not solve the malfunctioning or maintenance of battery.

While using dipper does both the filaments (for high beam and low beam) glows or only high beam glows?
My grand i10 (2015) is only using higher beam filament while using dipper, but this is when I upgraded my light to 100/90W, I don't notice earlier that which filaments were getting used while DIPPER use!
But my Tiago uses both the filaments which is for high and low beam while dipper use.

Home charging or rent mila kar running cost 5 Rs per km padegi.
    (Assumption: Range 250, electricity unit-Rs 8)
DC fast charging or rent mila kar running cost Rs 7.5 per Km padegi
[Assumption: Range 250, Electricity unit Rs.25 ( charging speed 50kw se upar)]
Jiski running kam hai uske liye achha offer hai. Petrol car Rs 10km pad jati hai.
Iska ek aur faida down payment aur EMI bhi kam banegi.
    Battery ki tension company ki.
Jitna use karoge utna hi bharoge battery rent
