The yellow is pretty wild, but I’m like you and prefer classic colors for motorcycles. My current 2020 Heritage is the blacked out 114 version in Vivid Black that I really like. My previous motorcycles have been either red or white. All good colors. I’ve always thought the Road King and my Heritage model are what motorcycles should look like. Good luck going back to work. I’ve worked continuously now for over 50 years and I’m retiring at the end of this year. It will be a big change for sure. Ride safe!

I'd agree with your assessment of the Road King and the Heritage. Those models are what bikes should look like. I love the description of your Heritage. I always have been and always will be a chrome guy but I do like the vivid black/blacked out look quite a lot. I quit working to knock some items off the bucket list but it's time to go back. Anyhow congratulations on your retirement. I hope you have more fun than I did and I had a ton of fun. Keep the shiny side up.

Good preview. The Road King is in the top 2 or 3 for my next additional bike. I do like a yellow bike, but this particular shade is not for me. The color works really well with the black engine. Riding a Road King at the H-D demo summer of '22 I found it extremely comfortable.

Yeah, I rode one too at the 22 demo. It had a lot of pull power and was fun but I still prefer the older styling.

Good review. Harley’s best touring bagger in my opinion nice and clean without a big fairing up front . Love my ‘21 RKS

I prefer not having a fairing either. I rather have a windshield. I'm glad you love your bike. That makes a bike so much more cool in my book.

The road king is one of the best bikes harley has made.....as far as style. That black and chrome (as god intended) lol, is such a nice looking bike.

I have to say that if I end up getting the Road King Special, that I would try my very hardest to get it in a white pearlescent with a blueish hue. To me, that would look awesome.
When it comes to styles, I strongly believe that Harley is solely making their design decisions based off of the market and it’s customers, which now is trying to attract Millennials and Gen Z.
By getting rid of the all chrome design, the old timer/vintage design, they are moving on from that and they most likely won’t bring it back because there’s little to no market anymore for that.
My best friends, who are brothers both have Harley’s. One has the vintage road king, all chromed out, decals… etc. He really likes it, that’s his taste.
His brother has the 2012 street glide in Sedona Orange. His bike has some chrome too, but it’s not as offensive as what the vintage has… and to me, the chrome isn’t as cool when it’s everywhere. I think the black makes the colors stand out more, that’s just my opinion.

🫡 And good luck with getting back into the workforce young man. I have to agree with you that the unfinished bolts do stand out from an ascetic point of view.

Once you notice the bolts, it's hard to ignore.

I love the road king standard. I own a 2004 rk., but the special in all black is awesome. The industrial yellow reminds me of a Pittsburgh steelers colors....they should have made it prospect gold like the heritage and the other touring models.

Pittsburgh Steelers colors...I didn't think of that but I can see it now/

MSRP is about $23,999.00 , looked at one at a dealer and they said the price was in the mid $30's. I guess the salesman was just checkin' my temperature.

In my opinion, your vid is nothing but an ad for the Road King and telling us what your opinion is. With both of our opinions and $1.00, you can get yourself a cup of.

Spoke wheels look great but until Harley Davidson arrive in the 21st century as other manufacturers have done and design spoke wheels that can take tubeless tyres then I'll stick with cast wheels.
