Sarah, how wonderful. You had so many beautiful finishes. You have much to be proud of as you celebrate your 50th birthday. Please tell Charlotte I love her plans for 2025!!! Enjoyed stitching with you yesterday. ❤❤
Congratulations on your 50 for 50. Really enjoyed seeing all your projects and progress I will look forward to seeing all your stitching progress in 2025 Happy stitching 😊❤
Drink at the ready? ✔️ Project in hand? ✔️ Feet up? ✔️ Cat in lap? ✔️ I've followed your journey this year and it is so fun to see all those projects again! I'm adopting Charlotte's resolution!
Charlotte has the right idea Sarah, food & pizza, brilliant. One of my resolutions is to comment more on Flosstubes! I watch a lot. Your 50 starts for your #funfor50sal are beautiful, as always Sarah. Exquisitely stitched too.
Thank you so much Pauline. It can be hard to remember to comment, especially if you’re busy stitching and it just moves on to the next video. Thanks for taking time to leave this comment.
It was so fun to see your projects all together and I really enjoyed following along with both you and Sally. I am completely down with Charlotte on the pizza plan 👍 Happy Stitching 🎉
Hi Sarah, many thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitches and congratulations on making it to 50 starts. I only discovered flosstube and your episodes part way through the year, so inspiring to see the variety of your starts and to feel in some way part of a bigger community of stitchers 🥰
Hi Sarah What a brilliant show you gave us today, with all your wonderful stitching of last year for your 50th birthday. Congratulations 🎉. I think Charlotte’s Idea for one of her New Years Resolutions is a brilliant idea so I’ve decided to join her and have that as one of mine. Take care little family, keep well and keep warm. 👵 x
Charlotte has it right Sarah…pick a New Year’s resolution that is doable…we could all learn from your sweet girl. Thank you for this awesome review video…so many exquisite stitches. 🦉🧵🪡❤️🍕🍕
What a wonderful wrap up! It was so good to see all of your 50 and remember some of the year when they were being started! It has been a truly fantastic year and I am looking forward to going a bit slower this year and joining Charlotte with eating pizza! Love to you both xx
So lovely to catch up with you today Sarah. The twin birds pin cushion looks fabulous. I wasn't really stitching or watching floss tube towards the end of 2024 so its great to get back into the swing of everything.
Hi Rachel. I think you mentioned somewhere that 2024 threw you a couple of curve balls at the end. I hope things are settling down and I’m glad you’re getting back to things. Don’t your pins look fab in the pincushion?😍
What a wonderful collection of stitching you have created! You have been a fabulous inspiration and I have started several of the projects you shared with us! My favourite one was "Light a single candle"! And I met many new designers over the year. Happy Birthday!
Thank you so much, Kathy. I’m glad that you enjoyed following along with us and find some new designers. Light a Single candle was one of my favourites too.
Great to see you tonight Sarah. I'm absolutely with Charlotte, a completely achievable intention for 2025 😋😋😋 Great to see all your starts again. It was a great year to follow yourself & Sally's celebration. Like you, I don't do birthdays so thought this was the perfect way to celebrate & be left with so many memories. I was stitching a piece to celebrate Jon & I meeting in person on 20th January some 18 years ago. I have the Across the Pond lined up & my Dragon stitch ready as well. After finishing 4 MFE pieces last year, I'm thinking, strongly, of beginning Fancy an ABC as my piece for this year. Plus there is knitting to be finished & domesticity to be factored in somewhere as well😂😂😂 Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Charlotte had the absolute best best plans for 2025! Atta girl!! That was a fabulous wrap up to your 50 starts. I commented on Jackie from Comfort Stitchings video last video that you were to blame for some of my new starts this year! She agreed that you are quite the enabler! 🤣🤣
Congratulations Sarah for finishing so many of the 50 starts🎉 You've far less to finish than I expected although I guess that the number will rise when added to some old WIPs but you'll enjoy stitching on old friends I'm sure. I'm now really enjoying 'Rejoice Evermore' on 40ct and quilting when I've a bit more time - finally made more blocks and finishing a quilt top of batik fabrics I bought in 2007 in Southern Maine! - and knitting in the evening when my eyes are tired. Such a joy to choose what I want to work on now the 50th WA Sampler is at the framer's 😊
Oh that’s exciting to be waiting on the 50th sampler return from the framer. It’s great that you have a variety of hobbies to choose from as suits your mood and tiredness.
I love Charlotte’s resolution about food & pizza. She’s a girl after my own heart. I’ll take the food but leave the pizza 🍕😞 for Charlotte to enjoy!!!❤
Food and pizza sound like the BEST 2025 plan :). Can't wait to pick up the Bee Queen again with you this spring/summer! It'll be great to get back to her :). Your marathon stitch is so so cute with the bear and penguin. Look forward to seeing your progress on that one! You did such a great job with this challenge and it's so cool to hear how each piece means something very special to you. A great year and happy happy 50th!
So many pretty patterns. Said I wasn’t going to buy anything but I did. I had to order the MFE “The Moonshine Cabin.’’ Congratulations on your 50 WIP’s and finishes!
Wow, beautiful stitched pieces, well done! It was good to be reminded of some of the lovely designs that I’d admired during last year and may want to stitch. And I’m with Charlotte on her new year resolutions - but just add chocolate to that list! In fact just make it chocolate!! 😀. God bless. X
Well, now technically we could just make chocolate a food and hey presto, it’s already on the list! 😉 Thanks for your support as always Jean, it means a lot.
Happy New Year Sarah! 😍 Thanks for sharing all of your starts with us - what a great recap - I really enjoyed your video and congratulations on this great achievement 😍😍
I’m glad your year of starts was such a pleasing experience and that you finished so many. Maybe you could use the color study piece and the sailors and faithful dog piece as panels for project bags. I know Sarah has used some of her stitches in bags and they are great.
Very good Sarah, wonderful starts and finished work.Charlotte has the right idea.Happy New year .Watching you on my last day in Dänemark, home tomorrow.
So much fun! I’m really impressed with how many of the 50 starts that you finished. It was fun seeing you at Across the Pond today. I’m sorry I forgot about participating in the Four Seasons SAL when we talked about SALs…I started it and moved on knowing that I can catch up before the Spring Equinox!
Congratulations on successfully completing your funfor50sal - where are you going to display all those finishes 🤔 I hope you have a happy but relaxing stitchy year 🤩
Nothing wrong with food and pizza! (not a fan of the pizza bit Charlotte but will give food a go! excellent resolution to make! Lovely to see you as always!
That's impressive! I'm amazed at how many finishes you were able to make! and many of them are quite large. Provocative question: how many starts have you planned for 2025? 😉
So, I may have started 6 already 😉 with one planned for Feb, one for Dec and one in August. I’m sure there’ll be one or two more but I promise I will work on the WIPs too. Really promise 😝

Such beautiful stitching and finishes, Well Done!

Great video - brings it all together for us 😊 - I have made note of sooooo many charts that I “need” ❤
Enabling - the double edged sword of flosstube. 😄 Well, at least you found some lovelies you like. Thanks for watching.
I’ve just found your floss tube and really enjoyed all your starts Sarah. I love your daughter’s New Years resolution! X
Thanks for joining us here on the channel Lynsey. Charlottes resolution is much more achievable than most of mine I think!

🤣🤣🤣love it Verity! Happy new year!
@@sewmesarah And to you too! :)
1974 must have been a bumper baby year, I also turned 50. I don’t have so many WIPS or non-started charts, but I did start a few.
Well happy birthday for last year too! I hope you enjoyed some special starts for your special year!
❤

How do you evaluate your 50 projects decisions. Was it all joy or did you feel the stress of having to finish?
I love your idea but 84 starts would be to much for me
🤣🤣 that’s why we did it for our 50th. The numbers just get bigger and bigger from here in!
❤❤❤❤❤
