This is Russian pilaf. I prepared this dish 2yrs ago gor New Years Day with no instructions with lamb meat and Turkish rice. I ordered the berberre berries and the Russian spices for it. I shredded the carrots fine and topped it off with the whole garlic. When I tell you this was probably one of THE BEST recipes I had ever made! I couldn't believe how it turned out. It was amazzzzzing!! The pot they are using is for restaurant servings. There are several pots of that size in that kitchen. I will make this again soon.

You should look at the cooking done in Ashrams in India. They feed 25,000 to 100,000 daily. Also that's a famous Afghan dish. Also cooked in other parts of the Middle East. I think it's a pilaf.

They will fire you before they even allow them to to take a piece and check you at the gate to make sure you have nothing on you that you don't have a receipt for when you leave for the night.
