Button is two faced.
Hes civil on donnie and dhali. When hes on any other program, he does have the tendency to look down on the canucks every chance he gets. To me, theres a reason why he isnt in a nhl club.

Exactly. The only difference I can think of is that Hyman clearly was aiming for Zodorov’s head unlike Soucy
@@Hawks12the difference was one cross check landed on McDavid. The rules are different for the stars (not named Hughes) they pretend like it’s not true but it is. They are going to go full radio silence on it and wait till people forget.

I don't mind the fact that we got a one-game suspension for the cross check to the face but there is a lot of other calls that got missed that should have had some sort of repercussions to them as well so all I can say is that's hockey

As soon as I seen the biased Albertan Button, I won't watch. I know his arguments will be ridiculous and in favor of the oilers or flames.
Button is a pretty nice guy, honestly, but the way he acts on this show compared to everywhere else is crazy.
He literally talks crap about the Canucks on every other program, and suddenly he’s in the Vancouver market, and he’s trying to be all nice.

Soucy tried to hit the chest. So intent wasnt there. Hyman should have got suspended as well if thats the case. If it was anyone else wxcept mcdavid, soucy wouldnt have gotten suspended
McDavid doesn't have to be responsible for his stick. Zach Hyman doesn't have to be responsible for his stick. Shame on Donnie and Dhali giggling away after Buttons hysterical national tv lobbying... and yet to not ask at all about Hyman, I might have to just toon out of these two. Ya craig they are going to miss soucy and edmonton would miss hyman..and thats exactly why the NHL suspended one of them and not the other for the exact same act during the exact same 'play'. To benift the oilers and hurt the Canucks. Its undefendable open bias.

Never had a reason to dislike Button till he cried about Soucey while ignoring Hyman's crosscheck, McHighstick, the slewfoots, spears, even ignoring Bennett's sucker punch on Marchand. Like come on.. might as well put on your Oilers jersey while you're on TV at this point.
Zac Hymen crosschecks Zadorov 2 seconds after McDavid gets it. its clearly visible on the replays.. How the F&%k does Hymen not get disciplined? All these pundits saying there is no place in hockey for hitting people in the face with at stick, Seravalli out there talking shit where is the outrage on Hyman who has to reach up to hit Zadorov and cut him... Its BS!!!

Demko is #1 and DeSmith was #2 so Silov was the 3rd string ... WAS ... as we are watching Silov moving up right in front of our eyes.

I, too, am surprised that the Hyman cross-check wasn't brought up. Button in particular has been advocating for heavy sanctions against any hits to the head for quite some time, as far as I'm aware. Would have been interesting to get his perspective.
Why wasn't Hyman suspended? How come you're not discussing Hyman's crosscheck to Zadorov's face? Double-standards by the NHL and hypocrisy from so many media personalities.

We hate the rat, but if you are gonna suspend Soucy, the Bennett sucker punch needs to be suspended. Standards are far from consistent.

you have to be responsible for your stick unless you are connor mc jesus or zack hystick. i remember as a kid going to english bay in the 50's and for 30 cents you got 2 pieces of cod and a mountain of fries wrapped in 3 pages of the vancouver sun, and 5 cents for a coke. we'd swim till we were starving then go to the fish and chip stand. fish and chips still my go to meal when i eat out. now it's $30. c'est la vie.

Pretty funny how Buttons' made a joke about lobbying the DOPS, when him and Seravelli were so passionate about handing out the suspension. Im not even arguing the suspension. Its bullshit that they did not have the same to say about many non-calls in this and other series. Clear bias.
His take on third stringers is also teribble. Donnie is right - its literally two third stringers. WTF are you on about Craig.
