HI Jamie. It's really pretty slick once you get the feel for it. As long as you have a face or an edge, you can line the WCS up pretty easily. Don't forget that the origin planes and axes are also valid for this as well.

Why can't I get the WCS to be X Positive to the right, Y Positive TOWARDS ME and Z Positive DOwn. Imagine a CNC router (Or in my case a MPCNC). I have it parked in the upper Left Coroner and Want everything to move in the positive direction. Is there some rule where this is not allowed for some reason. I can't be the only person who is trying to use an MPCNC and can't get the Gcode to NOT go in the negative for one of the axises to move. ANY Help here would be greatly GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

Hi Timmy. I've never seen anything that wouldn't follow this rule for a CNC machine. If you need to do what you are asking for, I think you would make the change in the post processor by asking the post to reverse the positive and negative directions for your axes. The posts are open source and written in Javascript. So if you are comfortable writing code, you could probably do it yourself. If not, if you want to look into this more, email me info@mechanicaladvantage.com and I can find out what it would cost a post editor to make that change for you.

@@MechanicalAdvantage hey thanks for the fast response. Yeah, it sounds more like misunderstanding on my part. The way this particular router is set up it really needs to move from the upper left with the z-axis moving in the positive. I can change the z-axis which would fix the issue I'm having I was really just wondering if it was just a setting or something I was missing out of the box. in the end I'm going to adjust the machine to what is default in fusion and just get on with life... Lol
