Really appreciated this review. I've had my KBO for about 2 months now, and had devoured all the other reviews before purchasing. Yours was the most honest, weighing the pros and cons; I had to agree with all of it, plus you added a few details I had noticed but didn't know how to assess. Thanks a lot. Your final statement did pretty much say summarize the bike well. It's a great commuter bike; fast, powerful and fun, at a reasonable price point.
I have one and it is ok, folks, keep in mind, this is an extraordinarily basic, low end component ebike. I upgraded to the wing freedom x for about the same price and it is extraordinary, much lighter, cool design, alarm system and most importantly, a torque sensor for a smoother ride. I still like riding my kbo sometimes
This was a good review! I love the bike and there’s one for sale near me for a real bargain. My problem is that I’m 6’4. Your ride comfort comments scare me a bit.
I have the bike, and the cadence sensor isn’t great, but you get used to it in a single ride. Think you may be overstating the rider experience. I think it is a good value for its price.
Battery arrived with no battery I ordered two bikes one arrived without a battery. I called customer service and they said every few hundred bikes has one missing a battery or front forks. There said they will send another battery and a bag for my inconvenience. The battery showed up but would not charge. I tried charging it multiple timers with no avail.I don’t believe there is any kind of quality control to have something like this happen twice. I called and emailed customer service and have yet to hear back. Also, never recieved the bag.
We purchased two kbo breeze. I love mine but my wife's breeze is two big for her. She's 5'2" and the bike is to large for her to handle. Kbo advertisements are not correct. Just a warning.
Hi Tyler, This was an excellent review. Especially from a road bike rider's point of view. I'm also a road bike rider and you touched on the same points that I noticed about my new orange Breeze. I bought it because my wife bought a Breeze step-through. I'm still "trying" to like my Breeze. It's a great looking bike, but I feel like I'm riding a big ol' electric beach cruiser. I also have an Orbea Gain e-bike that I really enjoy riding. So while everyone else is going goo-goo gaga over the Breeze, it's good to see that I'm not the only one looking at it from a road biker's view point. Thanks for sharing.
Great review Tyler. Let’s be honest this represents a useful commuter for those of us that ride to work and want to save our normal bikes for other types of rides.
Go with another EBIKE company unless you want to wait months for any item you place. They will take your money but not send the product you order. The communication is terrible. My seat post was warped upon shipping and they said to "bend it back". There was another manufacturer problem they were notified of the day I received my bike and to this day, they have yet to fix it. I ordered a "fence" for the bike in February. Still, nothing and its May. I get an email from them that it is ready to ship...but then a week later, nothing. When I contact them back, they tell me it's 2-3 weeks before shipment. When you try to contact them, it's only by email and its spotty communication. They say things like "we will urge our service department". Stop blaming others and just fix the problem and make it right for the customer. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to go in another direction. They aren't worth it.

Got mine today. Front forks not aligned. Front wheel would not seat.
