Aladdin (阿拉丁 in Chinese) is a port of the SNES version of the game of the same name, made by Hummer Team in 1995. The game is one of the more well known pirate ports, because it is very faithful to the original game and because it is a bootleg of very high quality, unlike other bootleg ports from more powerful platforms.

That death warp at the end requires taking damage while already dead which causes the heart counter to underflow to 255 The heart counter uses an 8-bit integrity check with another 8-bit integer in this case the max hearts. The max hearts at the start is 7 and can be increased 2 times. So if heart counter > max hearts then set heart counter = max hearts. In other words: 255 is greater than 7 then set heart counter to 7.
Wow, this actually looks like a well-done bootleg.
From a distance, this game looks like an SNES game.
Recreated about as well as humanly possible on the NES!

Always makes me wonder how two bootleg products of the NES version (of both the SNES and Mega Drive versions it was based upon) are somehow better than the official NES version.
(And no. I'm not talking about Aladdin 2. I'm talking about the Super Game version. Pretty well done port, even if it's missing a few stages. Up there with the GBC version)

Aladdin's got his priorities straight. Escaping with your life can wait. Now why Jasmin was down in the Cave of Wonders, I don't know.

You could always try making your own TAS of the game. Then again that's a lotta work just for one improvement...
This would actually be a decent port if the sound wasn't so horrendous.

There was an official NES Aladdin game released by Virgin Games, and well, you know it’s bad when a Bootleg game is better than it. On what good side, it’s better than another Famicom Bootleg game titled Aladdin II!
