- Cara Delevingne opens up to ‘Vogue’ about getting sober. The ‘Carnival Row’ actress says going to rehab was imperative, telling the magazine, ‘If I was continuing to go down the road I was, I would either end up dead or, like, doing something really, really stupid.’ ‘Vogue's April 2023 issue is available on newsstands nationwide March 21.

Before she starts talking about her sobriety in the media she needs to really focus on her mental health and coping skills right now. The media and interviews are not ideal for someone so vulnerable and fragile right now. The real world when she leaves rehab is going to hit hard and even harder because of who she is. Triggers are real and not so easily coped with outside of rehab if your not focused on what you can learn. I hope she stays clean. I’ve been sober 4 years and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but so worth it. Being dope sick ain’t it

İ wish she took longer time to herself before stepping back into the limelight. İ know it is for a good csuse but she could also be feeling under pressure to rehab her image which should not be a concern for someone who is just outside the storm zone. She is brave and i wish her and everyone going through recovery from addiction that they find the peace and health they need and surely deserve.

My twenties were my worst! My 30s have been great 👍 even the bad the painful stuff that has happen in my thirties have helped me the most!
Huge respect to Cara for being so open her own journey- hopefully it will help destigmatize addition ,and encourage others who may be struggling to reach out ,and find that help towards recovery, and health. She really was dragged through the mud in the media last year so publicly which must have been a total nightmare.
Wishing all those struggling with addiction to strength to keep going ,keep fighting, and find the way they need to get healthy again ❤.

Can people bounce back that fast? I doubt she’s good to go already. She needs to be guarded about who she allows to be around her for quite a while.
Addiction runs deep in her family. I wouldn't be surprised if cara was born with NAS. Her mother had a big heroin addiction.
Great that she is in rehab and in progress but let's be honest, it doesn't work so fast. She has only been clean for a month, so she needs to talk about being sober in a longer term...then we can see if it really worked for her

I'm New to You but I Dig You A Lot. I've done the alcohol rehab thing; if you're going to do it also; go ALL IN if you can. Don't sit around in the AA meetings drinking coffee and smoking cigs. NO (CAN) DO for 5 years. Caffeine - Alcohol - Nicotine. True health will emerge when you couple this with yoga (hot/Bikram), meditation, pranayama, whole foods plant based diet (yoga tenet), hydration (find the best water you can: drink at least half your body weight in ounces of H20: 110 pounds equals 55 ounces), hydrotherapy (sauna/ice bath), sleep hygiene. 🥰 You'll be super super super HOT and Healthy at 35.

I didn't know you were in the program, you've got the hard part behind you, don't make the same mistake I did, get into a group, do the 12 steps, honestly ,leaving nothing out, if any of makes you uncomfortable, just keep it one on one with your creator, God, Higher Power, whatever you want to call him, they call it a house cleaning and it works, trust me, Looking Good.

I am so happy for her but I have to say her MET ensemble was absolutely fabulous…. It was more the way she was moving and acting that worried people. I wish that people wouldn’t say dressing in interesting ways wasn’t cause for concern. In this society you are expected to mute your originality to be accepted.

No that’s the whole point of this. “See I’m all better!” She was never a great actress to begin with. Pretty bad actually but big shows like “Carnival Row” will keep hiring her because she has a big Instagram following and that means rating and money. Oh and she’s a lesbian.
