I’ve just sold my C2 and bought the X3 - nothing at all wrong with the X2, and the specs/performance of the X3 is pretty much same as the X2, for me it was purely about that larger screen making it easier to select options in the menus, and having the record and “me mode” buttons on the front - I use my 360 camera out on the bike, so these updates present on the X3 just make life way easier.

Now I’m a Mac guy but my question is will I comfortably be able to render out 360 videos in Studio app with a M1 with 16GB ram Mac book pro or do I absolutely need the M2 chip. Thx much appreciated

I use a hard case and store the micro sd card inside the sd card converter - they’re so small otherwise. If you search on Amazon for JJC sd card case, there are a number of different sizes available. Thanks for the comment and for subscribing much appreciated.

It depends how much you’re filming and whether you have access to power for charging but I would have at least two batteries and at least one 10000 mah power bank. And take spare charge cable and ideally the quick charger so you don’t need to leave the battery in the camera. I would always take enough memory cards so you don’t have to delete anything while you’re away as well.
I’m a new X3 user here for my motorcycle, but not had chance to really test it yet because still waiting for few things. I’ve tried few angles and just gently tapping the camera the video seems shaky. (I did so gyro stabilization too) So my question is this state flow stabilization, is it automatic in camera itself or is something that needs to be turned on? Also is “riding” customization more ideal for motorcycle rides as well?

I agree. Unless you buy two of these, you will still end up screwing and unscrewing onto your other mounts. That’s a high price for one of these, not to mention two!
I’ve never trusted it entirely but in theory the program will remember your keyframes when you reload the same clip. What I haven’t tested is whether it will remember the project names in a drop down menu.
No you’d have to download them from the cloud to your phone and then import them into the app using the story creator feature. You can also download clips wirelessly directly from the camera to your phone using the app.
You can get the sticky lens guards if you are shooting action stuff where you think your camera will be vulnerable. It will affect the image quality and stitching but will give you a bit of protection so it’s a personal choice.
By the way, please can you give me a good advice here? What you sugest better...to buy 1 extra battery for X3 and charge both by turn in camera or get a extra battery and a charger? They are expensive as hell for me, here 😭 ...thanks in advance, i would apreciate your help here 🥺
Hey Maryo, thanks for the comment. Ideally I would buy a charger and a battery but I appreciate they are expensive. Do you have a power bank as this could be a cheaper way to do it . Just plug it in whilst you are in between shots and top up your battery. A power bank would be less money than a battery and charger. Try and get a 10000mah version. Hope this helps.

Got mine about a week ago...worked well until today....stops at the three minute mark every time. Software up to date. Traded out sd card and no change and the same card worked well for the first week. Very disappointed...kept it cool while filming, no damage...sending it back tomorrow morning. Not sure which is more disappointing...my Go Pro or my Insta360x3 :>(.

No it’s not possible. Everything is pretty much in focus as the depth of field is huge with the wide angle lenses.

Try going directly to your Wi-Fi settings and selecting the camera Wi-Fi there - password is 88888888
