The student who says a coach ran up from behind him and choked him with a rolled-up T-shirt earlier this month is now planning to sue the man and his school ... telling TMZ Sports he's dealing with back pain and several other issues stemming from the scary incident.

Unfortunately there are cameras in schools now to catch these things. They've been going on for ages. It happened to me in elementary school back in 1982 and unfortunately there were no cameras back then to catch this. When I reported it, administrators made it out like I was exaggerating the incident and turned it around to make it my fault.
