One website that will be very helpful in your search will be www.point2homes.com most of the license realtors and main international real estate brands market their listings there. Jonathan, I know this property is sold but I just have a general question. The description indicates that there were 8 years left on the land which is leased. What happens after the 8th year remaining on the land is due? You renegotiate the lease of the land with the owners? As I said, just a general question. Thank you!

What it’s typically done in this case at time of purchase a new 10 years lease it’s signed with the corporation (owner) to secure a longer period of lease time and at the same time the buyer becomes a share holder of the corporation to secure renewals in the future. I've been seriously looking - LaPaz-Mazatlan-Ajijic-San Carlos-Ensenada for 2-3 weeks, left messages for more realtors than I can remember and YOU'RE the only response I've had. I'm in Tucson and my house will be advertised the first of the year. I'm trying to get an appointment at the Consulate for this week or next week to begin my residency requirements. I don't need more then 500-600 sq ft, as long as there's 'ground' around the house - on or in view of the ocean important..don't mind doing some cosmetic work as I immediately began a renovation of a house that needed nothing when I moved to Tucson.
