I made a similar build in medium and have been having a blast with it. One quick tip, if you take the last two perks points off of ice storm, it will use more mana and allow for more uptime on the damage bonus.
I too run this in Medium and I love being in the clumps with it. I have left the extra points on the Ice Storm, but I just make sure to Heavy Attack right before casting it (you can actually see him do it a few times in the video). Works pretty good.
At first I was ok with how shirking heals was working but now I believe its just to much...Being able to constantly self heal for 1-2-3-4-5-6k or more is a bit much. Why they nerfed bloodrinker but kept ankh/tumblr the same idk. Was fighting a bow player yesterday and dude self healed to full from nothing in 2 dodges. Just makes pvp not fun for those without, I dont mind fights being a little one sided, but thats a mountain vs a molehill
Shirking only works once every 5 seconds. Its not that OP as everyone is saying. Its because Ankh is currently bugged and the healing is multipicative instead of additive. Besides if they nerf Ankh/shirking into the ground light armour dies.
There is actually 3 bugs that make shirking heals seem good. There is a youtuber that covered it and explained the bug. Once the bug is fixed, the healing will go down by almost half. Might even be in the patch tomorrow.
You can get some of the best gear just from pvp reward tracks! But in general you can get tons of gear everywhere this expac so if you go out and do chest runs ect the gold items will come!
I’m new, just got into PvP. I have gotten every available artifact except PvP track. I’m now into PvP since I’m somewhat geared. Where does shirking heals gear drop? PvP game modes? I’m at suck a disadvantage w/o and being new, lol. I’m having a lot of fun though.
Shrinking heals perk is crafted or you can get the named drop armors as pvp rewards in your PVP track. Players saved their old sets from years ago which is why players are using the armor pieces. I am rocking 3 pieces of shrinking heals which includes only the Tumbler shoes.
I don't know, but to me this gameplay is kind of boring. The combat system in New World (animation lock/can't move while attacking) just makes it too easy for people to run away. In most cases, if you want to run away from a fight, there is nothing anyone can really do about it. It just isn't good gameplay to me. It really kills the spirit of small scale PvP. I believe the core problem is that dodge makes you move faster than just running. To me, dodging should be about timing the i-frame correctly, not just about rolling so far out of the hitbox of everything that it doesn't matter when you push it.

@@austinlevi3452 People use it cause there are 3 bugs that nearly double the healing. Once it is patched, it won't be used as much if at all.

Honestly rapier abyss was super fun to play but I think IG abyss is probably the all around strongest!

I wanted to play IG abyss more than FS abyss from the beginning. People sleep on how good IG is in general.
FACTS! Rapier/IG was my weapons of choice when I started playing NW! So under rated.
People are sleeping even more on VG with Abyss GA, it shits on both GA/FS and GA/IG.
i tried farming abyss for 4 days and nothing but hey, i got wizards grey hat in the first hour of farming! thanks new world!
