Crazy. My maintenance is more than that 😂
That's what community love and unity does 👏
If you marry a Parsi, you can get such house FOC...😂😂
@@zaar94631 only if you are a parsi..
It is just a dream to have such a massive flat at that meagre rent. Parsi community looks after their people. Best part of Parsi people is - they are brutally honest and straight forward. They have huge contribution towards nation building, eg Tatas.
They were given preference over Brahmins and others during the British time. The Brits favoured the Parsi community a lot.
As a result they were given massive land at dearth cheap rates, because of this favouring ( Godrej family). The end result is you see a lot of power and land concerntrated in the hands of Parsi families even after independence. The Domino effect of rich becoming more richer also played a role. Plus the 1950 to 2000 India was more socialistic.
Don't let the media hype fool you in to believing that they did great for India.
Please read about tax benifits on donations and philanthropy.

@@shalinparikh4657 But if they were irresponsible it would take less than a few years to go down the drain, but they are still thriving and I respect that .

My intention is not bring disrespect to any community or write things that could hurt someone's sentiments.
The idea to write the above long post was to share a holistic picture which may lead to a change in perception.
Agreed that they could have lost everything, but think over it a little bit more and you will deduce that this community was supported by Britain even in the post independence era. There was a very slim chance that they could have failed.
Also since they very limited in number, it was easier to uplift the community as a whole socially.
@@shalinparikh4657 But why would the Brits do that? The Brits were ruthless in terms of mercantile aspects, they wouldn't have favoured them if they didnt get something worthwhile in return.
Parsis were entrepreneurial, hence they could chalk out such a successful path. It didnt just come out of thin air.

Consider this
What is easier to manage
A small group or a large group.
This small group escaped islamic persecution and was given shelter by a noble king in Gujarat.
For years they remained a sheltered community. Now the Gujrat king is more. India as such functions under the British.
What is easier for the British to trust and falicitate their business
A comparative majority of Hindus and Muslims
Or
A small minority of sheltered people
Think about it!
Parsi community unity and philanthropy 👍
I love that the biggest Parsi community is in Mumbai ❤
Hope that the community grows!!
Nazar na lage DPC ko, the most precious part of old Mumbai❤
4300 rs for this accommodation is almost a steal deal. And with so many single and double story independent houses and parks this place doesn't even feel like it's in Mumbai.
Very nice to see how they look after their community.
It's unbelievable. When I was in Mumbai in 2020, the average monthly rent was 25-30000 in posh localities.
Tu posh mein nahi tha Bhai.
Bro 30k is the rent of flats in thane
South Mumbai , Bandra West even 10 years back it was not possible to get anything passably good & livable for that amount !
Which posh locality was that? I was in Chembur from 2020 to 2022 in a 3 bhk near Diamond Garden. The last rent I paid there was 81000! A flat with similar configuration in Bandra or Town or even Versova is upwards of 1.5 lakhs. You definitely weren't in a posh location. And there's nothing wrong with that.
That’s far from posh 😂
Only a TRUE MUMBAIKAR knows the advantage of this area 👍🏼
The old man said its based on need basis and is given to really needy ppl but then this guy has a bike worth 1.6lakhs , runs maratahon , is doing interiors of the house .. wheres the need of a subsidised housing for this family??
Why not open it up for real “needy” ppl
and height is He is in Merchant navy
I had the same thoughts!
a needy Parsi is richer than upper middle class people in mumbai
I respect this community. Hope all live like this in harmony and peace. One of the bestest videos
You have to be a building owner in the city to understand rent control or pagadi system. My parents own a bldg in the city and renters pay less than even slum dwellers. This is the sad unfortunate truth of some of the bldg owners, the rent is like in hundred rupees. Its beyond ridiculous…
What a lovely family & a beautiful house.. Thumbs up for a great episode..
OMG, Vishal does not know "IronMan" 😀Even the rental of 1300 sq feet apartment in a very small town would be much much higher than Rs.4300. Indeed, a caring community who looks after one another. And I have always loved Dadar, very green.
There are many old buildings in Dadar as well as in South Mumbai where people are living more than 50 years in the same rooms of Pagadi system . In Dadar real estate rate is approx Rs 30000/- per sq feet. But I. am paying rent Rs 153/- per month . Living in old bilding opp Dadar station for more than 60 years. The age of building is 85 years but in good condition . You might surprise to know this. There are hundreds of old buildings in old Mumbai. Redevelopment of such buildings is the big big question..
What is the meaning of pagadi system?
Don't worry mate, in few years time a big builder will come and take over your apartment and you will be thrown out from Mumbai, that's the fact, all outsiders are coming to Mumbai and making our city theirs and we Mumbaikars ourselves have been thrown out from our city!😢
One of the good and nice way to grow a community ❤. Also, the locality is good and rent 😊
Parsis are going extinct with less than 1lakh population. The rich Parsis may have seen the downtrend decades ago and felt the need to create affordable housing for future generation. This is how all communities should work.
At first after reading the caption , i thought they have missed one zero in the rental price😂😂
It is only for parsi people rest no one will be allowed
Parsi community is on the verge of extinction. It's truly impressive that they have maintained exclusivity for them in today's time. More power to the great Parsis.
Hindus should learn from these parsi community how to help one another and grow together. But i guess that never gonna happen we are caste driven soceity.
I'm not.
Tu apna Ghar mujhe 5000rs mai dede
@@osamaobama1574 kardi chutiyon wali baat.
Bsdk community kya hoti hai iska idea bhi hai tum logo ko?
What a place especially in Mumbai!
Interesting learning for me today.. agreement as per Rent control act & leave and license act. So if I understand the rent control act is the pagdi system??
Now this is what you call affordable housing 😎
I think Vishal was shocked in the whole interview..😅
Haha....
And jealous
My manager was parsi and he also got a similar house gifted
Thank you for this video
It is infront of vjti hostel gate
. Great place
The community gets funded by top trusts by Parsi companies like Tata and Godrej. Now you will understand how trust money goes to help their kin.
In which part or in which lart of the video they are talking about rent
Minimum rent for a non parsi person here is more than 3 lacs a month🥲
Love the PARSI community ❤️
Who owns the house then? The parsi panchayat or its like a pagdi system?
What a beautiful house!!! Would definitely go for this and the dude in the purple tee
😂😂😂
Please do LIC colony borivali west as well very similar area with green trees and parks
With the type of evil forces that exist I would recommend just leave these rare quiet places of the kind Parsis alone. Don’t cover and draw wrong attention .
Mast.. Superb
It's a great thing that the parsi community supports its own people but what I've noticed is that because of this the younger generations of Parsi actually tend to spend almost all of their disposable income and are left without any savings.
Maybe they should start some kind of mechanism for this problem as well
He must be earning in lakhs now though he is staying at cheap rates
What is the name of the dish!?
I have never met a Parsi in my life.😅
Jo owner hai woh fas Chuka hai abhi lakho ki jageh chiller ke daam mai dena pad Raha hai aur jage kabhi khali bhi nahi karne wale ye log
Rent cost but permanent house, is it available sir
Why not create this idea , please reply i explain this full idea thanks for this opportunity, nice day 🎉
With that cycle he can afford 25 months of rent 😅
Nice video
If this system ends in future, these guys will be in huge trouble as they have got used to such big houses and they will not be able to afford similar houses
Hum ko bhi "bawa" ban ne ka hai 😊
Any parsi girl seeing this video. Marry this man immediately 😂😂
definitely needy parsis based on their lifestyle. I guess you can define needy as lavish here
There are cheaper homes in Khotachiwadi, but of course you may not have not heard of them.
Encouraging marriages within a small community, does that not result in birth defects and health problems in future generation?
Sir mere ko aaisa hi room chahiye please help me
Any plans to do a series in Kolkata 😂😂
How to convert to a parsi?
you can't. conversion is not allowed. if a parsi marries a non parsi they are excommunicated from the panchayat
I hope the builders are kept out of this space.
I don't believe rent is 4300
Wow wow wow wow wow wow
I wish I had copyrights for "here"
Best locality
I didn't like video at all .... video was more about community than about real estate
The videos are always like that, real estate falls behind to personal discussion.
For every new video why do you repeat the location 2 times at the start..e.g Mumbai..in Mumbai..no need to repeat.
I noticed it too, however the 2nd In mumbai phrase leads towards the location. But he says it too quickly without a pause
Any parsi girl here 😂😂🤪
If you marry a Parsi girl, she gets ousted from the community
Hilarious parting comment!😂
Su vaat che !!!
Flaunting this I don't know what is this, Just making people jealous.
Respect to the parsi community. Very tightly knit and hardworking community minding their own business without bothering anyone 👍

Dear Daughters.. never agree to leave ur own parents and live with this son maniac family.. build ur own nest.. DONT become an educated ungrateful daughter
This such shows the level of discrimination we have in our society. Minorities get and take all the benefits and mostly live better life than hard working general public.
This housing was built and paid for by Parsi charities set up by Parsi businessmen. The government and Indian people are not funding this at all. There are similar housing projects built by other communities, including Hindu Saraswat Brahmins.
@@OhMaDayzz I agree and no problem with them building it. It's good what they are doing. I am saying still minorities get lot of benefits here which general people don't.
Now I wish I had got married to a Parsi 😊
Won't get any benefits a parsi person married to non parsi gets removed from parsi panchayat
