Im very surprised about some of the differences, like the jumping one i thought would be easier on roller skates but i didn’t realise they were heavier. I’m looking into getting some roller blades to try out so this is very insightful
Thanks for making rollerblade content! I am learning to rollerblade. There is so much more rollerskating content online so I find your videos super helpful 😊
As someone that's tried both, I definitely prefer rollerblades! That being said, I like going dangerously fast to get places instead of doing tricks, so maybe take my opinion with a grain of salt.
I have rollerskates but I'd like to try rollerblades, any advice on how to chose the right blades for me? For example how do I choose between 3 and 4 wheels?
I think rollerblading allows us to explore further out. Rollerskating is more restricted to rink. My kids likes rollerskating more. I love rollerblading more. Very good comparison. ❤
Can you tell me how to fix the inside of my rollerblade because the inside thing keeps rolling like a ball and it’s making me uncomfortable to skate how do you fix that? Like the rubber thing It’s like a piece of clothes It’s not sticky anymore and it’s rolled up to my feet
I keep seeing your vids and shorts pop up and it makes me wanna get back into rollarblading but I dont wanna over commit incase it doesnt work out, any skates youd reccomend thats on the cheaper side I can beat up a bit to see if I wanna invest in real proper skates?
i got impala inlines for my first skates and i love them! i got them on sale at $110 which was the cheapest price i could find for skates made by a reputable company. i have heard bad things about their quads though but i cant speak personally. it also might be good to check out thrift stores and online second hand stores! my feet are really small, so i couldn’t really find any in my size online, but just the other week i got a pair of quads in new condition for $14!
Dumb thought but I wonder if anyone's ever made rollerskate wheels so narrow that they fit under your sole, and ipso facto, made rollerblade wheelbase shorter than the tip of your toes and the back of the heel.
After getting my first quads, I actually tried this a couple weeks ago.. totally prepared for failure i was surprised how well this worked 😄 Not saying it's ideal, but doable for sure.. and pretty fun to combine things like a toe-stop and a powerslide 😋
rollerblade is the brand (like k2, roces, seba, others), inlike skate is the sport name, i think in the US, the brand replaced the name as a common name. in my country we call the rollerskate : "quads" because of the 4 wheels compared to inline ( which could be 3,4, 5 wheels)
Friends often ask me which is best, truth is both are best, and skating both makes you better at the other.
Yes!!!!!! Worded so perfectly!!! Thanks for adding this!!!! 🙏🩵☺️🤙🎉
@@PollySkateshi may i ask is roller skates or rollerblades better on road ? 💘

I've been inline skating for about 25 years now, and still, everytime i put on rollerskates it looks like i dont skate anything at all :/
I can do both, I like to use blades outside, but I use skates at the rink for adult skate nights and stuff like that.

That’s a good point. I think rollerskating is more popular than rollerblading. More people can rollerskate than rollerblade.

I love both
Roller blading was so easy for me as a kid but I could never get the hang of skates
I like blades because they give me more speed, but I still like both
Very good and beautiful teachers! ❤
Thank you! 😃🩵🙏

Can you do a video on beginner friendly, lower budget skates and blades? I’m planning on starting this spring and want to get good ones.
If you want good beginner roller skates I recommend C seven’s. They are both indoor and outdoor and are best for people beginning to learn.
Thanks for making his video.
🙏🙌💚

Like the rubber thing
It’s like a piece of clothes
It’s not sticky anymore and it’s rolled up to my feet
Blades for outdoors and quads for indoors

I used to have rollerblades as a kid. I want to try and buy one again as an adult. This video is really helpful 🫶
Time flies.

Was also a big adjustment for me going from regular roller blades to inline hockey skates, mainly the wheels being so narrow and not “full profile”
Where are your rollerblades from ? Super cool !!!
Hi! These are rollerblade maxxum that I spray painted to match the Barbie rollerblades ☺️
I love both❤❤ but i choose blades

My daughter is a pretty good skater chicken and bows and she's on an 8-year-old

What wiukd hapoen if one tried to wear rollerblades on one foot and rollerskates on the other?
You instantly combust. The last mistake you'll ever make.
No but seriously tho good question 😂

Which is better for street skating - going over little rocks and uneven pavement?
Blades
Definitely blades ☺️🤙
I love blades skates ❤❤
Same 🩵🩵

Wear your entire gear including helmets. I got more accidents in blade than my skateboard. Wheels are slidy.
Holly is very supple isn't she? Gosh.
💯🤸♀️
Hmmm
Wizard inline 5 wheel >> both of these
Damn, the armpit hair reminds me of my dad's lol

That is NOT true!
