    That airplane doesn't need a runway, it needs a launch pad! Incredible climb!

    That isn't an airplane ... it's an engine with wings!!! Awesome!

    That's a very impressive plane and engine combo! You could almost takeoff across the runway.

    Oh yeah that leads me to ask about progress on the "140HP Turbo 701"?

    Wow!!! That was definitely way under a 100ft takeoff roll, maybe not even 50!

    That was totally awesome! Who needs a runway? You just need 50 feet of pavement.

    Cool! What’s the empty weight of that 750 STOL with the Viking 175?

    • @eggenfellner
      @eggenfellner  7 месяцев назад +3

      Less than 1,000 lb. It is heavier than our other options but also has the performance

    Jan... are you using the K20C model in the K20 series of engines? The K20 series has been around for quite some many years. Curious which model you are using. Awesome addition to the Viking line.

    What is the core engine based on? Fuel burn? Turbo option? Is the core new or used?

    • @eggenfellner
      @eggenfellner  6 месяцев назад

      We do also have 2 different turbo engines. This is not one of them. You can get it new or used

    • @eggenfellner
      @eggenfellner  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, it is a K20. The weight is right Inbetween the 150 / 195

    i sure hope the new Mosaic rules allow for air-adjustable props si we could experiment with stol and reverse thrust . wouldn't it be nice to touch down and just stop or get to 4 inches altitude an just drop it? sounds good. would this engine work in 701? or too much weight forward? I was tinkering with some design ideas for a single axis thrust vectoring system. there's not STOL like a helo ;)
