uvedale Took me a second listen and some googling. That’s an occasional drawback with the songs of the week, I don’t always understand what they’re about. But once I do it’s very interesting to connect the lyrics to the subject, and yes brilliant!
Actually the closing line about ''Daddy lied....'' may be in the voice of Paul's daughter. So nice to now have art written about these desperate times. Reminded of the adage -- Victors write the history, but the vanquished write the songs.
