Grown for the leaf as well as the seed, this is a herb widely used in a range of cuisines.
Best grown in a humus rich moist soil , and if you can keep the plants moist and protect them from the hot sun you can even prevent early bolting or 'Going to Seed'.
Some extra nutrients and fertilizer in the soil mix can help with growth and adding some leaf mold can help with moisture retention.
You can harvest the whole plant, or snip of leaves as you need them. Plant sequentially, a few weeks apart for a continual harvest.
