for those who don't know how to change the file extension from .txt to .bat, you have to turn on file extensions in the view panel at the top of windows explorer. w10: view > file name extensions w11: view > show > file name extensions or you can directly save the file as a .bat from notepad Save As > Changed 'type' to all types and add a .bat at the end of the title
@_x4sh_he is talking about the file extension. on windows, to make it more user friendly, you can only see the file extensions of some files normally. So it helps. No need to diss him + he got liked by the creator.
To save it to a batch file (bat) from notepad: do a save as...and name the file with quotes as in "myfile.bat" this way it automatically saves to a bat file and no need to rename it later

I can assure you the random exe you might download is not a vnc client. Most likely it will be a pre programmed malware that it does predefined stuff like scan network, send some files, install bad drivers to your kernel or such and delete itself to avoid detection. It might be a rat or a keylogger as well but not a fricking vnc.

Hi, i did exactly as shown in the video and tested it with a friend that trusts me and screenshared on discord, he is on a different network obviously. This does not work. It only worked on my own PC which isn't helpful.
For context, if anyone wants to comment, i zipped the client file and sent it to the friend, he unzipped it and opened the batch file. (you have to zip if you send via discord). It is also important to mention that windows gave him plently of warnings before letting him open the file, which also proves this method won't work on anyone. (come on, who ignores a windows firewall warning?). also, he was obviously able to see the vnc files that come inside the client file too, which give away the whole thing as well. So no, this method doesn't work at all and it didn't give me no control. Even if hypothetically it did work, no one would fall for it, especially scammers which I wanted to use this against.
I tried this and Kaspersky blocked it with the "intrusion prevention" module, I had to add it to the antivirus exceptions so I could perform my educational tests
im gonna make this set of files, put it in my usb, go to my friend's house when he invites me, transfer these files in like a windows folder, set them to auto startup, and spy on my friend's computer lol

Not necessarily. WOL (Wake - On - LAN) is a thing. I use it on the daily to turn on my machines when I've no where near them. I then use anydesk to control said machines.

Hi, i did exactly as shown in the video and tested it with a friend that trusts me and screenshared on discord, he is on a different network obviously. This does not work. It only worked on my own PC which isn't helpful.
For context, if anyone wants to comment, i zipped the client file and sent it to the friend, he unzipped it and opened the batch file. (you have to zip if you send via discord). It is also important to mention that windows gave him plently of warnings before letting him open the file, which also proves this method won't work on anyone. (come on, who ignores a windows firewall warning?). also, he was obviously able to see the vnc files that come inside the client file too, which give away the whole thing as well.
So no, this method doesn't work at all and it didn't give me no control. Even if hypothetically it did work, no one would fall for it, especially scammers which I wanted to use this against.

I tried this and Kaspersky blocked it with the "intrusion prevention" module, I had to add it to the antivirus exceptions so I could perform my educational tests

Not necessarily. WOL (Wake - On - LAN) is a thing. I use it on the daily to turn on my machines when I've no where near them. I then use anydesk to control said machines.
