God. Affixing is one of the reasons why I wish augment/ability transferring worked differently from how it does now. I hate that transferring from one item to another completely overwrites everything (except the S-grades) you have on the target item. Effectively making the transfer only just affixing, but without RNG. That is why I came to this video. I had no trouble affixing and synthesizing the needed augments/abilities but I had trouble figuring out how to get them together. Thank you, truly, for this guide video.
Small correction about the sub / barrier units. Firstly, it doesn't have to be all sub / barrier units to get the extra % bonus, it just has to be all units with the same name (usually this means sub / barrier because they're easy to get, but might be worth mentioning). Secondly, the % bonus isn't just 1%. It's 10% of base chance per ability/augment. So if a specific ability/augment has a 50% base chance, it will get +5% (you can see this during the photoner glare + glare catalyst affix). Obviously, guardian soul and ether factor (with receptor) have a 10% base chance which means they get +1% from the bonus. Technically this is a fundamental which is why it doesn't necessarily need to be in the video, but it's worth mentioning for anyone who doesn't know about it.
Correction to your correction: Same name bonus is 10% multiplicative of base chance with only 1 fodder. It's 15% multiplicative with 2 or more, but all fodders must be same name as the base so it gets harder the more fodder you have. 20% affixes go to 23%, as an example. A couple examples of where this is beneficial: 10% Boost week: Crack II can be made 100% by using same name with a +10% Aug Aid -- you need a 2nd random fodder for same name though 15% Boost week: Crack III and Glare can be made 100% using Same Name with a +30% aug aid, saving 80 excubes

Hey man, Just want to say thanks for the guide! I actually followed it to the best of my ability and created my first 4 slot with GS, Crack V, AG and AF. I think I will wait for Mark Receptor and also the boost week (might have Receptor in the scratch or it could be released in the shops). I could have waited for the boost week to do this but I couldn't help myself lol. Spent quite a bit of Meseta doing this to buy the items separately, but it has come to the point that my end-game goal is to get those God Units. I get thirsty as fuck when doing this; just can't help to go to the ends of the Earth to get what I want lol. Also, I thought your voice over was comedic and relaxing lol. But learnt a lot following your guide, even with trial and error. Cheers!

I noticed that you used a Soul Receptor when making the Guardian Soul, but this does nothing for the success of Guardian Soul. Not that it's that big of a deal but could make a difference when trying to find fodder, only need the Factor Receptor. Aside from that, this is an amazing guide! Can't wait to plan this out soon...and to potentially do it all again once the new major update hits.
At the time of making this video (on both global and JP), all factor receptor units *always* had soul receptor on them due to their sources. As you said it's not necessary for the first step but chances are your factor receptor will have soul receptor on it regardless.
Amazing breakdown! I have a different question along the same lines. When making your Cras weapon since it has 5 S abilities what would you pick for the 3 slots that are left? I was thinking of making the 3 god units and weapon all balanced so i can use them on every class. Can you use Zig to swap weapon types for Cras cheaply on JP like you can the Trailblazer currently on NA? Thanks for your time.
1. I would pick guardian soul, phrase decay and grand power for striking weapons. Otherwise Guardian soul, phrase decay and mana reverie for all attack weapons. Unless you *exclusively* solo with classes that cannot jellen, I would take a 5% damage bonus when playing with others over less than 1% damage from a 50 attack affix. 2. Yes you can swap cras, same requirements as trailblazer and rivalate.
I think I understood the whole process but I have a question. I very recently started playing the game, so I don't have a lot of augment passes, meaning that it's probably wise for me to set a goal of having 7 slot units, since I really don't want to wait 7+ months before I can finalize my units with 8 slots. If I follow the guidelines in the video, would I need to transfer the initial 4 augments with a capsule on a 5 slot unit and then transfer those 5 augments on a 7 slot Klauz unit that already has a S-grade augment with another capsule? Thanks for the guide. I'll be keeping this one in mind when I want to make my god units. I have one question though: For the 4s base, I might want to change things up and use Veteran's Resolve V instead of Aether Factor, and just use the Aether Factor Capsule for upslotting. The unit's recipe would then be a lot different. Does anyone have any suggestions on how the recipe would be then?
If lets say i had a 8s unit but i added a crappy affix like might v temporarily, then i were to do another augment transfer and use a capsule. Would i be able to swap out the crappy affix with the capsule affix?
check the most active quests for what augments they drop and you'll have an idea of what is most farmed lately, this will allow you to look at the other affixes on the market easier to see what their prices are and judge from that. To give you an example roughly 24 hours ago I checked the market on factor pricing and they were around 1.5mil each on global server ship 4. A few weeks ago that was in the rotation but now there arent that many on sale which is the reason for that pricing.
I'm a noob... I've never seen anything like this... Can this be done with a weapon? I've only ever seen people make a weapon with about 230 - 250 DPS, some HP, and some PP. I thought that was the best imaginable @.@

That's 8, take one away for SSA/SGA. Sentence shouldn't even be considered on the end-of-the-line units.
yeah i'm just gonna skip all the crack/returner/db3 nonsense on global and do guardian soul + absolute glare + ether factor as a 3s base w/ mana rev, mark & grand cap (for 7s total)
You can also consider doing Risk realm, the latest Extreme quest, there is a multiplayer version if you are not taht good at it. It provides 13 star units with lesser attack or stat IV as it's augment factor so you can also get an atk ev. And if you want an even easier choice use a Liberate/Rivalate unit, the Augment factor is attack VI based on which unit it is (rear for power/might, arm for shoot/precision or leg for technique/casting).
@@Reialine appreciate the advice but the reason i'm doing 7 slot is because i have ~250 passes right now and don't feel like waiting months to go to 8s. by the time i have enough passes NGS will be out (unless sega gives them away or something)
@@terry3789 Have you gotten your achievement passes yet? there are some for clearing titles and reaching classes to 100, you can get around 200ish of them and have enough for 3 units if you've saved enough passes. However the mission badges can take a while. Might not be that bad with ultra PSO2 day coming this monday!
to be honest this is not and you also made it slightly more complex, you could have gone with EV affix which is better than Doom 3, or Crack or Returner, which provide all stat's which is better over all.

As a global player since steam release going for the god unit, Crack is awfully bad to get and will take several months to farm for 3 units as nobody is doing content down on Ship 4 in order to buy them so you'll have to deal with them yourself, if you can't afford the time to get crack or don't wanna I can also suggest going for Ev, as the latest Extreme quest provides with 13 star units that has Lesser Attack and HP/Spirit IV as their Augment Factor making EV much less time consuming than crack. Thou crack is more recommended however, it's up to the player to choose the stats on their unit as there is no absolute god unit based on which class or playstyle you have.

Pretty sure you can. It's probably like how you can pick and choose when transfering S Grades (idk). You just can't have the same _kind_ off affix

Might as well add in stat VI (SAF from rivalate / liberate unit) on a 4s base
Rear = Might VI / Power VI
