There's a lot of clickbait out there even in origami videos and I want to be careful not to do that. I didn't make up the magic trick, but I did make it my own by figuring out how to origami it from a square of paper.

I did make an ant with one of my Zoom students. It's buried somewhere way up in the the Shaferlayas... you know the layas' and layers upon mountains and mountains of mountains and valleys piled high against the walls of my natural recreation area, aka, my home! I do plan to sometime sift through organize and teach so many cool models I've created with my students and members, but meanwhile I'm also popping out models on my own, inspired by your requests or, as in this case, videos I see. So ya... Ant. Good idea. I did make a chocolate covered ant in Origami to Astonish and Amuse.
this is a great trick! origami magic tutorials might well be a new angle for you explore. Michael Close has many simple but elegant tricks in his 'workers' series. the best is a trick called 'imagination tester.' very easy and anyone can do it. ...paul harris has several extremely difficult origami effects from his 'art of astonishment' series. particularly the 'jack in the box' effect. I am only mentioning these great close-up magicians and their origami effects in the hope that you might find inspiration. been subbed to you for a couple years now and love all the material you put out.
