    Tony you and Patty are doing a great job. I was glad to hear you say you were able to salvage the lumber. Right now it is so pricey. I hate to think what it would cost me if I didn't salvage any.

      Hey Cathy thank you good to hear from you! Yes that would be a lot of money, we have a few project plans for the wood.

    Incredible job so far Tony, so glad Patty came out to help get the walls up. Its been extremely hot so please stay hydrated you two. The Chickens will be living their best life. I love seeing Pretty Girl just out and about, what a sweetie. God bless and thanks for sharing the progress!

      Thank you so much! It has been so so hot I think I have drank 3 gal of water a day, Its been a long process in getting this built and editing the video .
      It turned out really nice we think and built to last, we hope...lol Pretty Girl is loving all the room she has now and the other hens are as well.

    I would have dug 6 inches deep around the outside and laid concrete blocks underneath it to prevent animals from digging into the coop cage.

      Yeah could have but ....its working out well we haven't had any problems so far. I've been out at night watched coyotes, Racoons & a Bobcat try to get in with no luck. I may put blocks around if needed.
