3:13 I feel bad for laughing, but the look on your face when you realized you wired it wrong was amazing!
This would make a cool Parallel Universe model from Fender.
They listened: Squier Paranormal Custom Nashville Stratocaster
Perfect video for the month of October.
An interesting yet not new concept. Sounded like you'd expect. The split pickguard looks cool! \m/
*That split pickguard sure looks intriguing.*
nice work!!! i recently bought a cheap ebay 27" conversion neck for my squier strat and it oddly came with a telecaster heel. had to slim the heel down about a quarter inch to line up with the bridge and some fret dressing but overall holds straight and was a fun project.
here's a concept for ya: a coursed string arangement, but the coursed strings start part of the way down the neck, going through the fingerboard and out the back of the neck like a banjo
Your videos are always a treat to watch.
Tele’s just look amazing!
Great videos and ideas as always. %100 deserve more attention on RUclips. Keep it up dude!
Super cool, I think we could make it into a Baritelestrat by changing that Standard Neck to a Baritone Conversion neck, or even so as a Bass VI Telestrat w/ a Bass VI conversion neck.
This is cursed I love it
4:04 sounds like Until the Day I Die meets Cute Without the E.
i Like the mod. it looks cool with the different pickguards. whats about a humbucker in single coil form.
Hey, I was watching the Rob Scallon octabass video at MIM...
I remember that the tour guide said that the octabass could be heard best from about 20 meters away (rather than right next to it) he said this was because the long wavelength needs room to develop. maybe try recording your sub-bases from a further distance or listening to the playback further away. I'll be honest I have no idea how it works but what he said intrigued me... maybe it's worth checking out?
Now add humbuckers!
I did kind of the same thing a few years back. It is way easier to rout out a blank strat pickguard and fit in the tele Pickups that way (and looks cleaner).
Maybe I should do a Video about it someday
My tele is amazing, but in dire need of adjustment, while my strat is also pretty good but needs strings. They both have their uses imo
This also has me wondering about pickups: what if you had a guitar with just one humbucker in the middle? Then you could possibly wire up the toggle switch to outer coil, humbucker, inner coil. It probably doesn't have much use, but would make for an interesting video!
In their traditional form I prefer the tele. Better tuning stability since normal strat trems kinda suck
franken strat sounds so much better imo
first haha
